A step apparatus for a vehicle includes a base attached to an outer side of a vehicle body, an arm rotatably provided on the base, and a step supported by the arm and movable with respect to the base. The step apparatus for a vehicle is in, by rotation of the arm, a deployed state in which the step is to be used or a stowed state in which the step is stowed under the vehicle body. A first rotation axis of a base end of the arm and a second rotation axis of a tip end of the arm are inclined upward toward an outer side of a vehicle width direction in an attached state in which the step apparatus for a vehicle is attached to the vehicle body.

1 . A step apparatus for a vehicle comprising: a base attached to an outer side of a vehicle body; an arm rotatably provided on the base; and a step supported by the arm and movable with respect to the base, wherein the step apparatus for a vehicle is in, by rotation of the arm, a deployed state in which the step is to be used or a stowed state in which the step is stowed under the vehicle body, and a first rotation axis of a base end of the arm and a second rotation axis of a tip end of the arm are inclined upward toward an outer side of a vehicle width direction in an attached state in which the step apparatus for a vehicle is attached to the vehicle body. 2 . The step apparatus for a vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein a thickness of the arm in a direction along the first rotation axis gradually decreases toward the tip end of the arm in a longitudinal direction of the arm. 3 . The step apparatus for a vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein in the deployed state, the arm is inclined downward toward the outer side of the vehicle width direction. 4 . The step apparatus for a vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein a support surface supported by the arm in the step is orthogonal to the second rotation axis. 5 . The step apparatus for a vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein in the base, a portion that supports the arm has a portion orthogonal to the first rotation axis. 6 . The step apparatus for a vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein a position of the step in the stowed state is higher than a position of the step in the deployed state. 7 . The step apparatus for a vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein in the stowed state, the base end of the arm is located above a lower end of the step. 8 . The step apparatus for a vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein in the stowed state, the step contacts with a lower portion of the base. 9 . The step apparatus for a vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein at least one of the base and the step includes a contact portion, and in the stowed state, the contact portion is configured to contact with one of the base and the step, which is different from the other one provided with the contact portion.
