Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A drone loaded with a package takes off from a takeoff device and uses a GPS system to fly to a user house that is a delivery destination of the package as the destination. Further, when the drone approaches the user house that is the destination, the flight of the drones is switched from autonomous navigation using the GPS system to remote control performed by a landing device and an in-house control device installed in the user house. The drone lands on the landing device by remote control from the landing device and the in-house control device, separates the package, and then returns to the warehouse using the GPS system and lands on the takeoff device.

First claim

1 . A delivery system using a flying object, comprising; a management system; and an in-warehouse control device provided at the destination, wherein the management system acquires information regarding delivery requests for packages and sends delivery notifications to the in-warehouse control device based on the delivery requests, wherein the in-warehouse control device acquires response information pertaining to the response to the delivery notification and transmits it to the management system, wherein the delivery notification includes a drone ID identifying the flying object, wherein the in-warehouse control device receives information pertaining to the drone ID transmitted by the flying object, which is the drone carrying the packages, enters the area within a threshold distance of the destination; and transmits a signal to the flying object based on the received information indicating the switch of control over the flying object to be controlled by the in-warehouse control device. 2 . The delivery system according to claim 1 , wherein the management system comprises a route database that contains route data indicating the route from the warehouse, which is the departure point of the flying object, to the user house, which is the destination; and, when the delivery request is received, calculates the route data based on the route database and updates the route database. 3 . The delivery system according to claim 2 , further comprising: a weather database that contains weather data sent from the destination. 4 . The delivery system according to claim 1 , wherein the in-warehouse control device displays information contained in the received delivery notification on a display device at the user house. 5 . The delivery system according to claim 1 , wherein the in-warehouse control device transmits the information contained in the received delivery notification to the user's mobile device and displays the information on the mobile device. 6 . The delivery system according to claim 1 , wherein the landing device is installed at the destination; and wherein the flying object lands on the landing device through remote control from the in-warehouse control device. 7 . A delivery method using a flying object, comprising; a management system; and an in-warehouse control device provided at the destination, wherein the management system acquires information regarding delivery requests for packages and sends delivery notifications to the in-warehouse control device based on the delivery requests, wherein the in-warehouse control device acquires response information pertaining to the response to the delivery notification and transmits it to the management system, wherein the delivery notification includes a drone ID identifying the flying object, wherein the in-warehouse control device receives information pertaining to the drone ID transmitted by the flying object, which is the drone carrying the packages, enters the area within a threshold distance of the destination; and transmits a signal to the flying object based on the received information indicating the switch of control over the flying object to be controlled by the in-warehouse control device.
