An example technique may include tracking motion of a user wearing the wearable device using at least first sensors of one or more sensors of the wearable device. The technique may also include tracking a physical state of the user using at least second sensors of the one or more sensors of the wearable device. The technique may also include determining whether an application of the wearable device has been launched. The technique may also include determining an action category of the user based at least in part on at least one of the motion of the user, the physical state of the user, or whether the application has been launched. The technique may also include collecting heartrate data of the user. The technique may also include categorizing the heartrate data based at least in part on the determined action category.

What is claimed is: 1 . A wearable device, comprising: one or more memories configured to store computer-executable instructions; one or more sensors configured to sense biometric data of a user; one or more processors in communication with the one or more memories and the one or more sensors, the one or more processors configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to at least: track motion of a user wearing the wearable device using at least first sensors of the one or more sensors; track a physical state of the user using at least second sensors of the one or more sensors; determine whether an application of the wearable device has been launched; determine an action category of the user based at least in part on at least one of the motion of the user, the physical state of the user, or whether the application has been launched; collect heartrate data of the user; and categorize the heartrate data based at least in part on the determined action category. 2 . The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is collected based at least in part on the determined action category. 3 . The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is categorized as sedentary when the motion of the user is below a threshold and no application has been launched. 4 . The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is categorized as breathing when the application has been launched and the application comprises breathing instructions for the user. 5 . The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is categorized as workout when the application has been launched and the application is configured to track the physical state of the user. 6 . The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein at least some of the first sensors are distinct from at least some of the second sensors. 7 . The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein the action category is associated with a particular collection technique, and wherein collecting the heartrate data of the user comprises collecting the heartrate data of the user using the particular collection technique. 8 . A computer-implemented method, comprising: tracking motion of a user wearing a wearable device using at least first sensors of one or more sensors of the wearable device; tracking a physical state of the user using at least second sensors of the one or more sensors of the wearable device; determining whether an application of the wearable device has been launched; determining an action category of the user based at least in part on at least one of the motion of the user, the physical state of the user, or whether the application has been launched; collecting heartrate data of the user; and categorizing the heartrate data based at least in part on the determined action category. 9 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is collected based at least in part on the determined action category. 10 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is categorized as sedentary when the motion of the user is below a threshold and no application has been launched. 11 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is categorized as breathing when the application has been launched and the application comprises breathing instructions for the user. 12 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is categorized as workout when the application has been launched and the application is configured to track the physical state of the user. 13 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein at least some of the first sensors are distinct from at least some of the second sensors. 14 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein the action category is associated with a particular collection technique, and wherein collecting the heartrate data of the user comprises collecting the heartrate data of the user using the particular collection technique. 15 . One or more non-transitory computer-readable media comprising computer-executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a wearable device, cause the wearable device to perform operations comprising: tracking motion of a user wearing the wearable device using at least first sensors of one or more sensors of the wearable device; tracking a physical state of the user using at least second sensors of the one or more sensors of the wearable device; determining whether an application of the wearable device has been launched; determining an action category of the user based at least in part on at least one of the motion of the user, the physical state of the user, or whether the application has been launched; collecting heartrate data of the user; and categorizing the heartrate data based at least in part on the determined action category. 16 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is collected based at least in part on the determined action category. 17 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is categorized as sedentary when the motion of the user is below a threshold and no application has been launched. 18 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is categorized as breathing when the application has been launched and the application comprises breathing instructions for the user. 19 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein the heartrate data of the user is categorized as workout when the application has been launched and the application is configured to track the physical state of the user. 20 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein at least some of the first sensors are distinct from at least some of the second sensors.
