According to one aspect, a platform for providing at least one item to a customer is disclosed. The platform includes an autonomous, semi-autonomous, or fully autonomous vehicle that includes at least one compartment configured to contain a first item ordered by the customer and to contain a second item not ordered by the customer. The platform further includes an application including an ordering module configured to obtain an order from the customer that includes the first item, and a release detection module configured to determine when the first item has been removed from the at least one compartment and configured to determine when the second item has been removed from the at least one compartment. In one embodiment, the second item is predicted using a machine learning algorithm.

What is claimed is: 1 . A system comprising: at least one processor; one or more tangible non-transitory, computer-readable media for execution; and logic encoded in the one or more tangible non-transitory, computer-readable media for execution and, when executed by the at least one processor, operable to (a) process an order from a customer, the order including at least a first item ordered by the customer, (b) identify, based on the order from the customer, a second item, wherein the second item is not ordered by the customer, (c) direct an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle to a location associated with the customer, wherein the autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle includes at least one compartment, the at least one compartment configured to contain the first item ordered by the customer and to contain the second item not ordered by the customer, (d) verify an identity of the customer, (e) enable the customer to access the at least one compartment after verifying the identity of the customer, (f) determine whether the first item has been removed from the at least one compartment, whether the second item has been removed from the at least one compartment, or whether the first item and the second item have both been removed from the at least one compartment, and (g) charge the customer, wherein the customer is charged for the first item when it is determined that the first item has been removed from the at least one compartment, the customer is charged for the second item when it is determined that the second item has been removed from the at least one compartment, and the customer is charged for the first item and the second item when it is determined that the first item and the second item have been removed from the at least one compartment. 2 . The system of claim 1 wherein the logic is further operable to obtain the order from the customer. 3 . The system of claim 1 wherein the logic operable to verify the identity of the customer is arranged to obtain information from the customer using a user interface provided on the autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle. 4 . The system of claim 3 wherein the user interface is configured to display content associated with the second item not ordered by the customer. 5 . The system of claim 4 wherein the content includes a price of the second item not ordered by the customer. 6 . The system of claim 1 wherein the at least one compartment includes a first compartment and a second compartment, and wherein the first compartment is configured to secure the first item and the second compartment is configured to secure the second item. 7 . The system of claim 1 wherein the logic operable to identify, based on the order from the customer, the second item not ordered by the customer is further operable to identify the second item not ordered by the customer using a purchase history of the customer. 8 . The system of claim 1 wherein the logic operable to identify, based on the order from the customer, the second item not ordered by the customer is further operable to identify the second item not ordered by the customer using an aggregate purchase history of a consumers similar to the customer. 9 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage media encoded with a computer program including instructions executable by a processor to create an application, the non-transitory computer-readable storage media operable to: provide an ordering system, the ordering system configured to obtain an order from a customer, the order including a first item ordered by the customer; provide a prediction model system, the prediction model system configured to determine a second item not ordered by the customer based at least on the first item ordered by the customer; provide a delivery system, the delivery system configured to direct an autonomous vehicle to a location associated with the customer, the autonomous vehicle including at least one compartment configure to carry the first item ordered by the customer and the second item not ordered by the customer; provide a customer verification system, the customer verification system configured to confirm an identity of the customer, the customer verification module further configured to provide access to the at least one compartment based on confirmation of the identity of the customer; and provide a release detection system, the release detection system configured to determine whether the first item ordered by the customer has been removed from the at least one compartment, to determine whether the second item not ordered by the customer has been removed from the at least one compartment, or both. 10 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage media of claim 9 wherein the prediction model system is further configured to determine the second item not ordered by the customer based on a history of orders placed by the customer. 11 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage media of claim 9 wherein the prediction model system is further configured to determine the second item not ordered by the customer using an aggregate purchase history of a consumers similar to the customer. 12 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage media of claim 9 further operable to: provide a payment system, the payment system configured to charge the customer based on the first item ordered by the customer being removed from the compartment, that second item not ordered by the customer being removed from the compartment, or both. 13 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage media of claim 12 wherein the payment system is configured to receive a obtain a payment from the customer. 14 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage media of claim 9 wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage media is onboard the autonomous vehicle. 15 . A method comprising: processing an order from a customer, the order including at least a first item ordered by the customer; identifying, based on the order from the customer, a second item, wherein the second item is not ordered by the customer; directing an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle to a location associated with the customer, wherein the autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle includes at least one compartment, the at least one compartment configured to contain the first item ordered by the customer and to contain the second item not ordered by the customer; verifying an identity of the customer; enabling the customer to access the at least one compartment after verifying the identity of the customer; determining whether the first item has been removed from the at least one compartment, whether the second item has been removed from the at least one compartment, or whether the first item and the second item have both been removed from the at least one compartment; and charging the customer, wherein the customer is charged for the first item when it is determined that the first item has been removed from the at least one compartment, the customer is charged for the second item when it is determined that the second item has been removed from the at least one compartment, and the customer is charged for the first item and the second item when it is determined that the first item and the second item have been removed from the at least one compartment. 16 . The method of claim 15 further including obtaining the order from the customer. 17 . The method of claim 15 wherein verifying the identity of the customer includes obtaining information from the customer using a user interface provided on the autonomous or se
