1 . A binder for an electrochemical device comprising a polymer having at least one cyclic host group in a molecule, wherein the host group is present as a side chain of the polymer, and a main chain of the polymer penetrates through at least a part of the cyclic host groups. 2 . A binder for an electrochemical device comprising a polymer material containing a polymer having at least one cyclic host group in a molecule, wherein the polymer is a polymer containing, in at least a part thereof, a constituent unit formed of a host group-containing polymerizable monomer, and represented by the following general formula (2a): wherein Ra represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or a fluorine group; Rb represents a hydrogen atom or a fluorine group; Rc represents a hydrogen atom or a fluorine group; R 2 represents a divalent group formed by removing one hydrogen atom from a monovalent group selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyl group, a thiol group, an alkoxy group optionally having one or more substituents, a thioalkoxy group optionally having one or more substituents, an alkyl group optionally having one or more substituents, an amino group optionally having one or more substituents, an amide group optionally having one or more substituents, an aldehyde group, and a carboxy group, or —C(O)NH—(CH 2 ) n —O—C(O)— (n is 2 to 8); and R H represents the host group. 3 . A binder for an electrochemical device comprising a polymer material containing a polymer having at least one cyclic host group in a molecule, wherein the polymer is a polymer containing, in at least a part thereof, a constituent unit formed of a host group-containing polymerizable monomer and represented by the following general formula (h1): wherein Rd represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R H represents the host group; and R 1 represents a divalent group formed by removing one hydrogen atom from a monovalent group selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyl group, a thiol group, an alkoxy group optionally having one or more substituents, a thioalkoxy group optionally having one or more substituents, an alkyl group optionally having one or more substituents, an amino group optionally having one or more substituents, an amide group optionally having one or more substituents, an aldehyde group, and a carboxyl group. 4 . An electrode mixture comprising the binder for an electrochemical device according to claim 1 , an electrode active material, and a dispersion medium. 5 . An electrode comprising the binder for an electrochemical device according to claim 1 , an electrode active material, an electrolytic solution, and a current collector. 6 . The electrode according to claim 5 , wherein the electrode is a positive electrode. 7 . The electrode according to claim 5 , wherein the electrode is a negative electrode. 8 . The electrode according to claim 5 , wherein the electrode active material contains a carbonaceous material in at least a part thereof. 9 . The electrode according to claim 5 , wherein the electrode active material contains a silicon-containing compound in at least a part thereof. 10 . An electrochemical device comprising the electrode according to claim 5 . 11 . A secondary battery comprising the electrode according to claim 5 . 12 . The secondary battery according to claim 11 , wherein the secondary battery is a lithium ion battery.
