What is claimed is: 1 - 20 . (canceled) 21 . A pocket structure comprising: a first panel; a pocket panel coupled to the first panel along a first secured edge to define a pocket with the first panel, the pocket panel having at least one free edge extending perpendicular to the first secured edge, the at least one free edge not coupled to the first panel; and an opening intersecting the free edge of the pocket panel and positioned at or adjacent an intersection of the first secured edge and the free edge of the pocket panel, the opening comprising: a first portion extending at an angle of greater than 60 degrees relative to the free edge; and a second portion extending from the first portion towards the first secured edge, the second portion oriented at an acute angle relative to the free edge of the pocket panel. 22 . The pocket structure of claim 21 , wherein the opening further comprises a third portion extending from the second portion at an angle generally parallel to the first secured edge, the first portion being a proximal leg, the third portion being a distal leg, and the second portion being a transverse portion extending between the proximal and distal legs. 23 . The pocket structure of claim 21 , wherein the second portion of the opening includes a first edge and a second edge, and wherein the first and second edges are parallel to one another. 24 . The pocket structure of claim 21 , wherein the second portion of the opening has a uniform width. 25 . The pocket structure of claim 21 , wherein a terminal point of the opening is curved. 26 . The pocket structure of claim 21 , wherein the at least one free edge includes a plurality of free edges. 27 . The pocket structure of claim 21 , wherein the pocket panel is coupled to the first panel by sonic or heat welding. 28 . The pocket structure of claim 21 , wherein the pocket panel is coupled to an inner surface of the first panel. 29 . The pocket structure of claim 21 , wherein the acute angle is equal to or less than 30 degrees. 30 . The pocket structure of claim 21 , wherein the first portion of the opening extends perpendicular relative to the free edge and parallel to the first secured edge. 31 . The pocket structure of claim 21 , wherein the pocket panel is additionally secured to the first panel along a second secured edge, wherein the second secured edge is parallel to the first secured edge and wherein the free edge extends between the first and second secured edges. 32 . A folder including a pocket structure, the folder comprising: a first major panel; a second major panel pivotably coupled to the first major panel along a spine; a pocket panel coupled to the first major panel along a first secured edge to define a pocket with the first major panel, the pocket panel having at least one free edge extending perpendicular to the first secured edge, the at least one free edge not coupled to the first major panel; and an opening intersecting the free edge of the pocket panel and positioned at or adjacent an intersection of the first secured edge and the free edge of the pocket panel, the opening comprising: a first portion extending at an angle of greater than 60 degrees relative to the free edge; and a second portion extending from the first portion towards the first secured edge, the second portion oriented at an acute angle relative to the free edge of the pocket panel. 33 . The folder of claim 32 , wherein the opening further comprises a third portion extending from the second portion at an angle generally parallel to the first secured edge, the first portion being a proximal leg, the third portion being a distal leg, and the second portion being a central portion extending between the proximal and distal legs. 34 . The folder of claim 32 , wherein the second portion of the opening includes a first edge and a second edge, and wherein the first and second edges are parallel to one another. 35 . The folder of claim 32 , wherein the second portion of the opening has a uniform width. 36 . The folder of claim 32 , wherein a terminal point of the opening is curved. 37 . The folder of claim 32 , wherein the pocket panel is coupled to the first major panel by sonic or heat welding. 38 . The folder of claim 32 , wherein the pocket panel is coupled to an inner surface of the first major panel. 39 . The folder of claim 32 , wherein the acute angle is equal to or less than 30 degrees. 40 . The folder of claim 32 , wherein the pocket panel is additionally secured to the first major panel along a second secured edge, wherein the second secured edge is parallel to the first secured edge and wherein the free edge extends between the first and second secured edges.
