A display device includes a first substrate including a first side surface, a display area, and a pad area located outside of the display area and adjacent to the first side surface, a second substrate facing the first substrate and including a second side surface extending further outward than the first side surface of the first substrate, a printed circuit board electrically connected to the pad area of the first substrate and bent along the first side surface of the first substrate, and a light blocking chassis overlapping the printed circuit board and the first side surface of the first substrate.

1 . A display device comprising: a first substrate including a first side surface, a display area, and a pad area located outside of the display area and adjacent to the first side surface; a second substrate facing the first substrate, the second substrate including a second side surface extending farther outward than the first side surface of the first substrate; a printed circuit board electrically connected to the pad area of the first substrate and bent along the first side surface of the first substrate; and a light blocking chassis overlapping and covering the printed circuit board and the first side surface of the first substrate in plan view. 2 . A display device comprising: a first substrate including a first side surface, a display area, and a pad area located outside of the display area and adjacent to the first side surface; a second substrate facing the first substrate, the second substrate including a second side surface extending farther outward than the first side surface of the first substrate; a printed circuit board electrically connected to the pad area of the first substrate and bent along the first side surface of the first substrate; and a light blocking chassis overlapping the printed circuit board and the first side surface of the first substrate, wherein the second substrate includes: a first region having a first thickness; and a second region having a second thickness which is smaller than the first thickness, the second region being disposed outside of the first region, and the second region at least partially overlaps the light blocking chassis. 3 . The display device of claim 2 , wherein a part of the light blocking chassis is disposed in a space between the printed circuit board and the second region of the second substrate. 4 . The display device of claim 2 , wherein the second region of the second substrate overlaps the light blocking chassis in a plan view. 5 . The display device of claim 4 , wherein the second side surface of the second substrate is aligned with an outer surface of the light blocking chassis. 6 . The display device of claim 2 , wherein the second substrate further includes a surface and another surface opposite to the surface, the another surface of the second substrate facing a top surface of the first substrate, the another surface of the second substrate includes: a first other surface located in the first region of the second substrate; and a second other surface located in the second region of the second substrate, and the second other surface is higher than the first other surface with respect to the top surface of the first substrate. 7 . The display device of claim 6 , wherein the surface of the second substrate includes: a first surface disposed in the first region of the second substrate; and a second surface disposed in the second region of the second substrate, and the first surface and the second surface are disposed on a same plane. 8 . The display device of claim 2 , wherein the light blocking chassis includes: an insertion portion, at least a part of the insertion portion being disposed between the second region of the second substrate and the first substrate; and a side portion extending downward from an end of the insertion portion. 9 . The display device of claim 8 , wherein a thickness of the insertion portion of the light blocking chassis is in a range of about 0.1 mm to about 0.3 mm. 10 . The display device of claim 9 , wherein the insertion portion of the light blocking chassis extends in a first direction perpendicular to a thickness direction, and a width of the insertion portion of the light blocking chassis in the thickness direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction is in a range of about 0.50 mm to about 0.99 mm. 11 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the light blocking chassis blocks light in at least a partial region of the light blocking chassis. 12 . The display device of claim 11 , wherein the light blocking chassis has a black color in at least the partial region of the light blocking chassis. 13 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein organic light emitting elements are disposed in the display area of the first substrate. 14 . The display device of claim 1 , further comprising: a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. 15 . A display device comprising: a display substrate including a first side surface, a display area, and a pad area located outside of the display area and adjacent to the first side surface; a printed circuit board electrically connected to the pad area of the display substrate and bent along the first side surface of the display substrate; and a light blocking chassis overlapping and covering the printed circuit board and the first side surface of the display substrate in plan view, wherein the light blocking chassis is in contact with a surface of the printed circuit board. 16 . The display device of claim 15 , wherein the light blocking chassis blocks light in at least a partial region of the light blocking chassis. 17 . The display device of claim 16 , wherein the light blocking chassis has a black color in at least a partial region of the light blocking chassis. 18 . The display device of claim 15 , wherein organic light emitting elements are disposed in the display area of the display substrate. 19 . The display device of claim 15 , wherein the light blocking chassis includes an insertion portion overlapping the display substrate and a side portion extending from an end of the insertion portion to overlap at least a part of the first side surface of the display substrate. 20 . The display device of claim 19 , wherein a thickness of the insertion portion of the light blocking chassis is in a range of about 0.1 mm to about 0.3 mm. 21 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the light blocking chassis further covers and overlaps a portion of the pad area that is disposed on the first substrate. 22 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein a top surface of the light blocking chassis extends beyond the top surface of the printed circuit board in a longitudinal direction and a direction opposite to the longitudinal direction.
