Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Methods and apparatuses are described herein for BWP and SUL operation in wireless systems, especially in systems using a shared spectrum. In one embodiment, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive information related to an upcoming channel occupancy time (COT) and use the received information to determine at least one resource for the operation of the WTRU during the COT. In one embodiment, the WTRU operating in a wireless network may transmit data on a first uplink carrier. It may trigger a switch from the first uplink carrier to a second uplink carrier based on at least one condition of the network and transmit data on the second uplink carrier.

1 .- 20 . (canceled) 21 . A method, implemented by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) to manage a plurality of downlink (DL) bandwidth parts (BWPs) including a default DL BWP, the method comprising: receiving information related to a first channel occupancy time (COT); determining one or more active DL BWPs for the WTRU among the plurality of DL BWPs for the first COT based on the received information; receiving information indicating an inactivity time amount for the one or more active DL BWPs; receiving first downlink control information (DCI) on the one or more active DL BWPs during the first COT; on a condition that a first amount of time between a current time and a time of the reception of the first DCI during the first COT is greater than a second amount of time equal to the inactivity time amount plus a sum of respective time periods between one or more adjacent COTs which are between the first COT and a current COT, deactivating the one or more active DL BWPs and activating the default BWP; and on a condition that the default DL BWP is active, receiving second DCI on the default BWP, wherein a start of the current COT is later than an end of the first COT, and wherein the inactivity time amount is greater than zero. 22 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising: receiving information related to the current COT prior to the receiving of the second DCI. 23 . The method of claim 21 , wherein any of the information related to the first COT, the information related to the current COT, and/or information related to any one of the adjacent COTs is respectively received in at least one of: a Random Access Channel (RACH) preamble, a System Information Block (SIB), a Master Information Block (MIB), and DCI. 24 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the one or more active DL BWPs are associated with one or more control resource sets (CORESETs). 25 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the one or more active DL BWPs are associated with a set of Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) and/or a set of Listen Before Talk (LBT) sub-bands. 26 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising: receiving information related to the current COT which includes information indicating a duration of the current COT, wherein the information related to the first COT includes information indicating a duration of the first COT. 27 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the duration of the first COT is an integer number of any of seconds, slots or orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDM) symbols. 28 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the one or more active DL BWPs among the plurality of DL BWPs include DL BWPs other than the default DL BWP. 29 . A method, implemented by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) to manage a plurality of downlink (DL) bandwidth parts (BWPs) including a default DL BWP, the method comprising: receiving information related to a first channel occupancy time (COT); determining one or more active DL BWPs for the WTRU among the plurality of DL BWPs for the first COT based on the received information; receiving information indicating an inactivity time amount for the one or more active DL BWPs; receiving first downlink control information (DCI) on the one or more active DL BWPs during the first COT; and on a condition that a first amount of time between a current time and a time of the reception of the first DCI during the first COT is less than or equal to a second amount of time equal to the inactivity time amount plus a sum of respective time periods between one or more adjacent COTs which are between the first COT and a current COT, receiving second DCI on a DL BWP among the one or more active DL BWPs, wherein a start of the current COT is later than an end of the first COT, and wherein the inactivity time amount is greater than zero. 30 . The method of claim 29 , wherein any of the information related to the first COT, the information related to the current COT, and/or information related to any one of the adjacent COTs is respectively received in at least one of: a Random Access Channel (RACH) preamble, a System Information Block (SIB), a Master Information Block (MIB), and DCI. 31 . The method of claim 29 , wherein the duration of the first COT is an integer number of any of seconds, slots or orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDM) symbols, and wherein the one or more active DL BWPs among the plurality of DL BWPs include DL BWPs other than the default DL BWP. 32 . A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) to manage a plurality of downlink (DL) bandwidth parts (BWPs), including an initial/default DL BWP, of the WTRU for receiving downlink control information (DCI), the WTRU comprising: a processor and a transceiver configured to: receive information related to a first channel occupancy time (COT), determine one or more active DL BWPs for the WTRU among the plurality of DL BWPs for the first COT based on the received information, receive an inactivity time amount for the one or more active DL BWPs, receive first downlink control information (DCI) on the one or more active DL BWPs during the first COT, on a condition that a first amount of time between a current time and a time of the reception of the first DCI during the first COT is greater than a second amount of time equal to the inactivity time amount plus a sum of respective time periods between one or more adjacent COTs which are between the first COT and a current COT, deactivating the one or more active DL BWPs and activating the default BWP, and on a condition that the default DL BWP is active, receive second DCI on the default BWP, wherein a start of the current COT is later than an end of the first COT, and wherein the inactivity time amount is greater than zero. 33 . The WTRU of claim 32 , wherein the processor and the transceiver are further configured to receive information related to the current COT prior to the receiving of the second DCI. 34 . The WTRU of claim 32 , wherein the information related to any of the first COT, the information related to the current COT, and/or information related to any one of the adjacent COTs is respectively received in at least one of: a Random Access Channel (RACH) preamble, a System Information Block (SIB), a Master Information Block (MIB), and DCI. 35 .
