The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting DNA damage, comprising a GSK3 inhibitor. Further, the present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for protecting or mitigating radiation against radiation-induced damage, or preventing or treating pulmonary fibrosis, comprising a GSK3 inhibitor.

The method of claim 8 , wherein the pharmaceutical composition is administered before, after, or simultaneously with exposure to a DNA damage-inducing factor. 12 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the pharmaceutical composition is administered before, after, or simultaneously with exposure to radiation. 14 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the pharmaceutical composition is administered before, after, or simultaneously with exposure to radiation exposure or drug therapy for anticancer treatment. 15 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the GSK3 inhibitor is a compound of Formula 1 or Formula 2 below, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a solvate thereof: 16 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the GSK3 inhibitor is a compound of Formula 1 or Formula 2 below, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a solvate thereof: 17 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the GSK3 inhibitor is a compound of Formula 1 or Formula 2 below, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a solvate thereof: 18 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the radiation-induced damage is at least one selected from vascular damage, skin damage, gastrointestinal tract damage, tissue inflammation, and tissue fibrosis, which are caused by radiation exposure. 19 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the pulmonary fibrosis is induced by radiation exposure or drug therapy for anticancer treatment. 20 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable salt is hydrochloride. 21 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable salt is hydrochloride. 22 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable salt is hydrochloride.
