Opening claim text (preview).
1 . A separation and extraction method comprising: immersing a battery in water comprising a polypeptide. 2 . The separation and extraction method according to claim 1 , wherein the immersing comprises introducing the battery into the water after introducing the polypeptide into the water. 3 . The separation and extraction method according to claim 1 , wherein the immersing comprises introducing the polypeptide into the water after introducing the battery into the water. 4 . The separation and extraction method according to claim 1 , further comprising: introducing sodium chloride into the water, wherein the immersing comprises immersing the battery in the water comprising the sodium chloride. 5 . The separation and extraction method according to claim 2 , further comprising: introducing sodium chloride into the water, wherein the immersing comprises immersing the battery in the water comprising the sodium chloride. 6 . The separation and extraction method according to claim 3 , further comprising: introducing sodium chloride into the water, wherein the immersing comprises immersing the battery in the water comprising the sodium chloride. 7 . The separation and extraction method according to claim 1 , further comprising: pulverizing the battery taken out of the water after the immersing; sorting metal material from the pulverized battery; and re-immersing the sorted metal material in the water comprising the polypeptide. 8 . The separation and extraction method according to claim 2 , further comprising: pulverizing the battery taken out of the water after the immersing; sorting metal material from the pulverized battery; and re-immersing the sorted metal material in the water comprising the polypeptide. 9 . The separation and extraction method according to claim 3 , further comprising: pulverizing the battery taken out of the water after the immersing; sorting metal material from the pulverized battery; and re-immersing the sorted metal material in the water comprising the polypeptide. 10 . The separation and extraction method according to claim 1 , wherein the polypeptide is polyglutamic acid. 11 . The separation and extraction method according to claim 2 , wherein the polypeptide is polyglutamic acid. 12 . The separation and extraction method according to claim 3 , wherein the polypeptide is polyglutamic acid. 13 . A battery immersion mixture in which a battery is to be immersed, the mixture comprising: water; and a polypeptide. 14 . The battery immersion mixture according to claim 7 , further comprising: sodium chloride. 15 . The battery immersion mixture according to claim 13 , wherein the polypeptide is polyglutamic acid. 16 . The battery immersion mixture according to claim 14 , wherein the polypeptide is polyglutamic acid.
