The present invention relates to a fragrance composition for suppressing malodor, comprising an alcohol fragrance, a lactone fragrance, or both, and more specifically, to a fragrance composition that can suppress malodor and unpleasant odor that may be generated by the human body, or clothes or environments being in contact with the human body. The fragrance composition of the present invention was completed by applying a single fragrance of an alcohol fragrance or lactone fragrance, or a mixture of both, thus being able to more effectively act against malodor while providing a more luxurious and excellent aromatic property compared to the conventional fragrances with a rather simple aromatic property.

1 . A fragrance composition for suppressing malodor comprising an alcohol fragrance, a lactone fragrance, or both. 2 . The fragrance composition of claim 1 , wherein the alcohol fragrance comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of decanol, ambrinol, dihydro myrcenol, nerol, Pamplefleur, geraniol, linalool, phenyl ethyl alcohol, rosalva, tetrahydrolinalool, α-terpineol, styrallyl alcohol, cis-3-hexenol, anisyl alcohol, Dimetol, cinnamyl alcohol, cedrol, patchouli alcohol, and Timberol. 3 . The fragrance composition of claim 1 , wherein the lactone fragrance comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of γ-undecalactone, cis-jasmone lactone, and musk lactone. 4 . The fragrance composition of any one of claims 1 to 3 , wherein the composition comprises the alcohol fragrance in an amount of 10 wt % to 65 wt % relative to the total weight of the composition. 5 . The fragrance composition of any one of claims 1 to 3 , wherein the composition comprises the lactone fragrance in an amount of 5 wt % to 65 wt % relative to the total weight of the composition. 6 . The fragrance composition of any one of claims 1 to 3 , wherein the composition suppresses the malodor which comprises, as a malodor source, at least one selected from the group consisting of isobutyric acid, isovaleric acid, caproic acid, caprylic acid, 2-nonenal, 6-heptenoic acid, and pelargonic acid. 7 . A home care product for suppressing malodor, comprising the fragrance composition of any one of claims 1 to 3 . 8 . A personal care product for suppressing malodor, comprising the fragrance composition of any one of claims 1 to 3 . 9 . A method for suppressing malodor, comprising applying the fragrance composition of any one of claims 1 to 3 to a malodor source.
