An apparatus for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin material, including: a mold for molding a base material containing a thermoplastic resin into a predetermined shape; and a transfer mechanism that places the base material in the mold, wherein the transfer mechanism includes a detection mechanism that detects a state of the base material, and a controlling unit that controls operation of the mold and the transfer mechanism.

An apparatus for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin material, comprising: a mold for molding a base material containing a thermoplastic resin into a predetermined shape; and a transfer mechanism that places the base material in the mold, wherein the transfer mechanism includes a detection mechanism that detects a state of the base material, and a controlling unit that controls operation of the mold and the transfer mechanism. 2 . The apparatus for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin material according to claim 1 , wherein the transfer mechanism has a gripping part that holds the base material, and the gripping part includes a first temperature adjusting unit that adjusts the temperature of the base material. 3 . The apparatus for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin material according to claim 1 , further comprising a pedestal on which the base material is placed when the temperature of the base material is detected by the detection mechanism, wherein the pedestal has a second temperature adjusting unit that adjusts the temperature of the base material. 4 . The apparatus for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin material according to claim 3 , wherein the detection mechanism includes a temperature detection mechanism that measures the surface temperature of the base material placed on the pedestal. 5 . The apparatus for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin material according to claim 3 , wherein the detection mechanism includes a gravity-center detection mechanism that detects the position of the center of gravity of the base material placed on the pedestal.
