The aqueous pigment dispersion can be used in an aqueous inkjet ink which is useful for printing on textile fabrics.

An aqueous pigment dispersion comprising: a pigment; and at least one dispersing agent having the formula I: wherein R 1 is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkaryl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted (hetero)aryl group; L represents a divalent linking group including 2 to 10 carbon atoms; R 2 , R 3 , and R 4 are independently selected from the group consisting of a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkaryl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted (hetero)aryl group; any of R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , and L may represent atoms necessary to form a five to eight membered ring; R 5 represents a hydrocarbon group including at least 8 carbon atoms; and X − represents an anion to compensate for a positive charge of the ammonium group. 13 . The aqueous pigment dispersion according to claim 12 , wherein R 5 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group including at least 8 carbon atoms. 14 . The aqueous pigment dispersion according to claim 12 , wherein the pigment is selected from the group consisting of a quinacridone and a diketo-pyrolo-pyrrolo-pigment. 15 . The aqueous pigment dispersion according to claim 13 , wherein the pigment is selected from the group consisting of a quinacridone and a diketo-pyrolo-pyrrolo-pigment. 16 . The aqueous pigment dispersion according to claim 12 , wherein the pigment is selected from the group consisting of Pigment Orange 48, Pigment Orange 49, Pigment Red 122, Pigment Red 192, Pigment Red 202, Pigment Red 206, Pigment Red 207, Pigment Red 209, Pigment Violet 19, and Pigment Violet 42. 17 . The aqueous pigment dispersion according to claim 13 , wherein the pigment is selected from the group consisting of Pigment Orange 48, Pigment Orange 49, Pigment Red 122, Pigment Red 192, Pigment Red 202, Pigment Red 206, Pigment Red 207, Pigment Red 209, Pigment Violet 19, and Pigment Violet 42. 18 . An aqueous inkjet ink comprising: the aqueous pigment dispersion according to claim 12 . 19 . An aqueous inkjet ink comprising: the aqueous pigment dispersion according to claim 14 . 20 . The aqueous inkjet ink according to claim 18 , wherein the aqueous pigment dispersion is present in an amount from 0.1 wt % to 30 wt %. 21 . The aqueous inkjet ink according to claim 19 , wherein the aqueous pigment dispersion is present in an amount from 0.1 wt % to 30 wt %. 22 . The aqueous inkjet ink according to claim 18 , further comprising: a resin or a capsule including a shell surrounding a core; wherein the shell includes cationic dispersing groups and the core includes a chemical reactant which is capable of forming a reaction product upon application of heat and/or light. 23 . The aqueous inkjet ink according to claim 19 , further comprising: a resin or a capsule including a shell surrounding a core; wherein the shell includes cationic dispersing groups and the core includes a chemical reactant which is capable of forming a reaction product upon application of heat and/or light. 24 . The aqueous inkjet ink according to claim 22 , wherein the resin is a polyurethane resin obtainable by reacting a polyester polyol, a polyol containing a quaternary N-atom or an amino group, and a polyisocyanate. 25 . The aqueous inkjet ink according to claim 23 , wherein the resin is a polyurethane resin obtainable by reacting a polyester polyol, a polyol containing a quaternary N-atom or an amino group, and a polyisocyanate. 26 . The aqueous inkjet ink according to claim 24 , wherein the polyester polyol is obtained by reacting an aromatic polycarboxylic acid and a polyol. 27 . The aqueous inkjet ink according to claim 22 , wherein the chemical reactant is a thermally reactive crosslinker. 28 . The aqueous inkjet ink according to claim 23 , wherein the chemical reactant is a thermally reactive crosslinker. 29 . An inkjet recording method comprising: providing a substrate; printing an image by jetting the aqueous ink jet ink according to claim 18 on a surface of the substrate; and drying the image jetted onto the surface of the substrate. 30 . The inkjet recording method according to claim 29 , further comprising: heating the image jetted and dried on the substrate to a temperature of at least 110° C.
