A polycarbonate resin having a high refractive index, low Abbe number, and high moist heat resistance that includes structural units represented by general formula (1):

1 . A polycarbonate resin comprising: a structural unit represented by general formula (1): wherein: X represents a C 1-4 alkylene group; and a and b each independently represents an integer of 1 to 10; a structural unit represented by general formula (2): wherein: Y represents a C 1-4 alkylene group; and c and d each independently represents an integer of 1 to 10; and a structural unit represented by general formula (3): wherein: Z represents a C 1-4 alkylene group; R 1 to R 6 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, a C 1-20 alkyl group, a C 1-20 alkoxyl group, a C 5-20 cycloalkyl group, a C 5-20 cycloalkoxyl group, a C 6-20 aryl group, or a C 6-20 aryloxy group; and e and f each independently represents an integer of 0 to 5; wherein a refractive index (nD) of the polycarbonate resin at 23° C. at a wavelength of 589 nm is 1.635 to 1.695. 2 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , wherein: the ratio of the structural unit represented by general formula (1) is 10 to 80 mol %; the ratio of the structural unit represented by general formula (2) is 10 to 60 mol %; and the ratio of the structural unit represented by general formula (3) is 5 to 80 mol %. 3 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , wherein: the ratio of the structural unit represented by general formula (1) is 20 to 80 mol %; the ratio of the structural unit represented by general formula (2) is 10 to 60 mol %; and the ratio of the structural unit represented by general formula (3) is 5 to 70 mol %. 4 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , wherein 90% or more of the structural units in the polycarbonate resin consist of the structural units represented by general formulae (1) to (3). 5 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , wherein a polystyrene equivalent weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of the polycarbonate resin is 20,000 to 200,000. 6 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , wherein an Abbe number (v) of the polycarbonate resin is 24 or less. 7 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , wherein a glass transition temperature (Tg) of the polycarbonate resin is 90 to 180° C. 8 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , wherein a b value of the polycarbonate resin is 5 or less. 9 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , wherein an amount of residual phenol contained in the polycarbonate resin is 500 ppm or less. 10 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , wherein an amount of residual diphenyl carbonate (DPC) contained in the polycarbonate resin is 200 ppm or less. 11 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , wherein a content of an antioxidant in the polycarbonate resin is 0.001 to 0.3 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the polycarbonate resin. 12 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , wherein a content of a mold release agent is 0.005 to 2.0 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the polycarbonate resin. 13 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 1 , comprising a polymer having a terminal structure represented by formula (A) and/or a compound represented by formula (B): wherein: X represents a C 1-4 alkylene group; a and b each independently represents an integer of 1 to 10; each Hm is a hydrogen atom; and * is a polymer chain. 14 . The polycarbonate resin according to claim 13 , wherein a total content of the polymer having the terminal structure represented by general formula (A) and the compound represented by general formula (B) contained in the polycarbonate resin is an amount which, when measuring H 1 -NMR spectrum of the polycarbonate resin, satisfies: Peak   integral   value   of   4.83   to   4.76   ppm Peak   integral   value   of   4.85   to   2.80   ppm × 1  0  0 = 0.001   to   1.0 (
