What is claimed is: 1 . A plastic glazing of a tailgate of a vehicle, the plastic glazing comprising: a translucent component molded in a first shot, wherein a portion of the translucent component forms a rear window of the vehicle; a colored component molded onto the translucent component in a second shot, wherein the colored component comprises a lens of a light unit; and a non-transparent component molded onto the translucent component, and the colored component, in a third shot, wherein an overlapping portion of the translucent component and the non-transparent component forms a blackout region proximate to the rear window, wherein the plastic glazing is of one-piece molded plastic construction, and wherein the non-transparent component forms a pattern in the blackout region, wherein the blackout region is formed in a shape of a halftone pattern. 2 . The plastic glazing of claim 1 , wherein each of the translucent component and the non-transparent component comprise a polycarbonate. 3 . The plastic glazing of claim 1 , wherein the blackout region is configured to conceal an adhesive. 4 . The plastic glazing of claim 3 , wherein the halftone pattern is part of a single connected blackout region. 5 . The plastic glazing of claim 1 , wherein the plastic glazing is configured to attach to a housing unit ( 200 ) of the tailgate, wherein the blackout region is configured to conceal an adhesive attaching the housing unit to the plastic glazing. 6 . The plastic glazing of claim 5 , further comprising a protective layer on a surface of the plastic glazing. 7 . The plastic glazing of claim 6 , wherein the protective layer is provided on an interior and/or an exterior surface of the plastic glazing, wherein the protective layer is a weathering layer and comprises a polyurethane coating or a combination of an acrylic primer and a silicone hard-coat. 8 . The tailgate of claim 1 , wherein the translucent component is fused to the colored component. 9 . The tailgate of claim 8 , wherein the non-transparent component is fused to the colored component. 10 . The tailgate of claim 8 , wherein the non-transparent component is fused to the translucent component. 11 . A plastic glazing of a tailgate of a vehicle, the plastic glazing comprising: a translucent component molded in a first shot, wherein a portion of the translucent component forms a rear window of the vehicle; a colored component molded onto the translucent component in a second shot, wherein the colored component comprises a lens of a light unit; and a non-transparent component molded onto the translucent component, and the colored component, in a third shot, wherein an overlapping portion of the translucent component and the non-transparent component forms a blackout region proximate to the rear window, wherein the plastic glazing is of one-piece molded plastic construction, and wherein the translucent component comprises a first textured surface in a region adjacent to the blackout region, the first textured surface configured to conceal a component of the vehicle. 12 . The glazing of claim 11 , wherein the first textured surface is formed on the translucent component via an injection molding process. 13 . The glazing of claim 11 , wherein the non-transparent component forms a pattern in the blackout region, wherein the blackout region is formed in a shape of a halftone pattern. 14 . The tailgate of claim 11 , wherein the translucent component is fused to the colored component. 15 . The tailgate of claim 14 , wherein the non-transparent component is fused to the colored component. 16 . The tailgate of claim 15 , wherein the non-transparent component is fused to the translucent component. 17 . 18 . The tailgate of claim 17 , wherein the translucent component is fused to the colored component. 19 . The tailgate of claim 18 , wherein the non-transparent component is fused to the colored component. 20 . The tailgate of claim 19 , wherein the non-transparent component is fused to the translucent component.
