A printing control apparatus that transmits print data including image data and a print setting with respect to the image data to a printing apparatus includes a receiving unit configured to receive a change of the print setting with respect to the image data transmitted to the printing apparatus and a control unit configured to place a restriction that prevents print data based on a first setting value indicating that predetermined identification information is combined with image data when the image data is generated by the printing control apparatus and a second setting value indicating that the image data is stored in the printing apparatus in a re-printable state from being transmitted to the printing apparatus.

What is claimed is: 1 . A printing control apparatus that transmits print data including image data and a print setting with respect to the image data to a printing apparatus, the printing control apparatus comprising: a receiving unit configured to receive a change of the print setting with respect to the image data transmitted to the printing apparatus; and a control unit configured to place a restriction that prevents print data based on a first setting value indicating that predetermined identification information is combined with image data when the image data is generated by the printing control apparatus and a second setting value indicating that the image data is stored in the printing apparatus in a re-printable state from being transmitted to the printing apparatus. 2 . The printing control apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein, when the receiving unit receives the change of the setting, the control unit places a restriction on the change of the setting to prevent a combination of the first setting value and the second setting value from being set to the print setting. 3 . The printing control apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein, after a printing instruction is received, the control unit determines whether a combination of the first setting value and the second setting value is set to the print setting with respect to the image data, controls the printing control apparatus to generate and transmit print data based on the printing instruction when the control unit determines that the first setting value and the second setting value are not combined with each other, and controls the printing control apparatus to cancel generation of print data based on the printing instruction when the control unit determines that the first setting value and the second setting value are combined with each other. 4 . The printing control apparatus according to claim I, wherein the control unit does not specify a combination of a third setting value indicating that predetermined identification information is combined with image data when printing is executed by the printing apparatus and the second setting value as a target of the restriction 5 . The printing control apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein the control unit further controls the printing control apparatus not to generate a print job based on the first setting value and the third setting value. 6 . The printing control apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a storage unit configured to store a conflict rule indicating a combination of print settings conflicting with each other, wherein the control unit places the restriction based on the conflict rule stored in the storage unit. 7 . The printing control apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the first setting value is a setting value that enables a function of combining information indicating a copy number for identifying each copy with image data when the image data is generated by the printing control apparatus. 8 . A printing system comprising: a printing apparatus; and a printing control apparatus that transmits print data including at least image data and a print setting to the printing apparatus, wherein the printing control apparatus includes: a receiving unit configured to receive a change of the print setting with respect to the image data transmitted to the printing apparatus; a control unit configured to place a restriction that prevents print data based on a first setting value indicating that predetermined identification information is combined with image data when the image data is generated by the printing control apparatus and a second setting value indicating that the image data is stored in the printing apparatus in a re-printable state from being transmitted to the printing apparatus; a generation unit configured to generate the print data including the image data and the print setting transmitted to the printing apparatus based on data selected as a printing target and the received print setting; and a transmission unit configured to transmit the print data generated by the generation unit to the printing apparatus, and wherein the printing apparatus includes a storage unit configured to store the print data received from the printing control apparatus in a storage area of the printing apparatus when the second setting value is included in the received print data. 9 . An information processing apparatus comprising an execution unit configured to execute control for not generating a print job in a state where both a first setting and a second setting are enabled, wherein in the first setting, the information processing apparatus selects a character to be combined with an image to be printed and then transmits the selected character to a printer, and wherein in the second setting, the information processing apparatus allows the printer to select the character to be combined with the image to be printed.
