1 - 18 . (canceled) 19 . A wireless communication device adapted to communicate with a network entity of a wireless communication network, the wireless communication device comprising: processing circuitry; memory containing instructions executable by the processing circuitry whereby the wireless communication device is operative to: evaluate a condition that indicates an in-motion or stationary state of the wireless communication device; and transmit information for adapting a paging and/or tracking mode in the network, the information indicating the in-motion or stationary state of the wireless communication device towards the communication network. 20 . The wireless communication device of claim 19 : further comprising a sensor unit configured to output a signal that indicates the in-motion or stationary state of the wireless communication device; and wherein the instructions in memory are such that the wireless communication device is operative to evaluate the conditions by comparing a value of the signal to a predetermined value. 21 . The wireless communication device of claim 20 , wherein the sensor unit is: a motion sensor, a gyroscope, a temperature sensor, a light sensor, an air pressure sensor, an ignition sensor, a mechanical sensor, and/or a charging current sensor. 22 . The wireless communication device of claim 19 , wherein the instructions in memory are such that the wireless communication device is operative to receive mode instructions to use a paging and/or tracking mode determined by a network entity based on the information indicating the in-motion or stationary state. 23 . The wireless communication device of claim 22 , wherein the instructions in memory are such that the wireless communication device is operative to adapt a paging and/or tracking mode for signal reception based on the received mode instructions. 24 . The wireless communication device of claim 19 , wherein the instructions in memory are such that the wireless communication device is operative to adapt a regular paging and/or tracking mode for signal reception based on the received mode instructions determined based on the information indicating the in-motion state. 25 . The wireless communication device of claim 19 : wherein the instructions in memory are such that the wireless communication device is operative to adapt a limited paging and/or tracking mode based on the received mode instructions determined based on the information indicating the stationary state; and wherein a regular paging and/or tracking mode uses more resources than the limited paging and/or tracking mode. 26 . The wireless communication device of claim 25 , wherein the limited paging and/or tracking mode uses a precision paging only in an area from which the wireless communication device was communicating with the network in a previous paging and/or tracking cycle. 27 . The wireless communication device of claim 25 , wherein the instructions in memory are such that the wireless communication device is operative to reduce an on-duration for the paging and/or tracking mode, when instructed to use the limited paging and/or tracking mode. 28 . The wireless communication device of claim 25 , wherein the instructions in memory are such that the wireless communication device is operative to increase a paging cycle for the paging and/or tracking mode, when instructed to use the limited paging and/or tracking mode. 29 . The wireless communication device of claim 19 , wherein the instructions in memory are such that the wireless communication device is operative to transmit the information for adapting a paging and/or tracking mode in an idle or connected state. 30 . A network entity coupled to a wireless communication network adapted to receive data from a wireless communication device, the network entity comprising: processing circuitry; memory containing instructions executable by the processing circuitry whereby the network entity is operative to: receive, from the wireless communication device, information for adapting a paging and/or tracking mode in the network indicating an in-motion or stationary state of the wireless communication device; and determine a paging and/or tracking mode for the wireless communication device based on the information indicating the in-motion or stationary state of the wireless communication device. 31 . A wireless communication network system, comprising a wireless communication device adapted to communicate with a network entity of the wireless communication network; the wireless communication device comprising processing circuitry and memory containing instructions executable by the processing circuitry whereby the wireless communication device is operative to: evaluate a condition that indicates an in-motion or stationary state of the wireless communication device; and transmit information for adapting a paging and/or tracking mode in the network, the information indicating the in-motion or stationary state of the wireless communication device towards the communication network; the network entity; the network entity adapted to receive data from the wireless communication device; the network entity comprising processing circuitry and memory containing instructions executable by the processing circuitry whereby the network entity is operative to: receive, from the wireless communication device, the information for adapting a paging and/or tracking mode in the network indicating an in-motion or stationary state of the wireless communication device; and determine a paging and/or tracking mode for the wireless communication device based on the information indicating the in-motion or stationary state of the wireless communication device. 32 . A method for paging and/or tracking a wireless communication device of a wireless communication network, the method comprising: evaluating, in the wireless communication device, a condition that indicates an in-motion or stationary state of the wireless communication device; transmitting information for adapting a paging and/or tracking mode from the wireless communication device towards the communication network, the information indicating the in-motion or stationary state of the wireless communication device; and determining a paging and/or tracking mode for the wireless communication device based on the received information. 33 . The method of claim 32 , further comprising receiving, from the wireless communication device, the information indicating an in-motion or stationary state. 34 . The method of claim 32 , further comprising transmitting instructions towards the wireless communication device to use the determined paging and/or tracking mode.
