A power tool includes a motor, a switch, a housing, a switching member and a holding member. The housing is a hollow body formed by a first housing part and a second housing part connected with the first housing part. The first housing part has a through hole. The switching member is connected to the switch and includes an operation part exposed outside through the through hole so as to be movable in a specified direction in response to a user's manual operation. The switching member is configured to turn the switch on and off by linearly moving in the specified direction. The holding member is supported by at least one of the first housing part and the second housing part within the housing and configured to hold the switching member between the holding member and the first housing part so as to be linearly movable in the specified direction.

What is claimed is: 1 . A power tool configured to drive a tool accessory, the power tool comprising: a motor; a switch for driving and stopping the motor; a housing that houses the motor and the switch, the housing being a hollow body formed by a first housing part and a second housing part connected with the first housing part, the first housing part having a through hole; a switching member connected to the switch, the switching member including an operation part exposed outside through the through hole so as to be movable in a specified direction in response to a user's manual operation, the switching member being configured to turn the switch on and off by linearly moving in the specified direction in response to the manual operation of the operation part; and a holding member supported by at least one of the first housing part and the second housing part within the housing and configured to hold the switching member between the holding member and the first housing part so as to be linearly movable in the specified direction. 2 . The power tool as defined in claim 1 , wherein: the housing has an elongate shape extending in the specified direction, the housing includes: a grip part configured to be held by a user; and a first end part and a second end part respectively connected to opposite sides of the grip part in the specified direction, the power tool further comprises a spindle disposed in the first end part and configured to drive the tool accessory removably mounted to the spindle, by power of the motor, the operation part and the switch are respectively disposed in the first end part and the second end part, and at least a portion of the holding member extends in the specified direction within the grip part and holds the switching member. 3 . The power tool as defined in claim 2 , further comprising: an illumination device disposed in the first end part and configured to illuminate a working region of the tool accessory; and a wiring for power supply, extending from the second end part and connecting to the illumination device, wherein the holding member is configured to guide the wiring from the second end part to the first end part. 4 . The power tool as defined in claim 3 , wherein the holding member is configured to hold the illumination device. 5 . The power tool as defined in claim 3 , wherein: the holding member has a groove formed in a surface facing an inner surface of the housing, and the wiring is held in a housing space defined by the groove and the inner surface of the housing. 6 . The power tool as defined in claim 5 , further comprising: a metal member exposed to an outside of the housing, wherein the holding member and the housing are configured to secure a creepage distance for insulation between the wiring in the groove and the metal member. 7 . The power tool as defined in claim 6 , wherein: at least one of the holding member and the housing has a recess or a projection made of an insulator, the recess or the projection being interposed between the wiring and the metal member, thereby securing the creepage distance. 8 . The power tool as defined in claim 2 , wherein: the spindle is rotatably supported around an axis crossing the specified direction, and the power tool further comprises a transmitting mechanism configured to transmit rotation of an output shaft of the motor to the spindle and reciprocally rotate the spindle within a specified angle range around the axis. 9 . The power tool as defined in claim 2 , further comprising: a support body disposed within the housing and supporting at least the motor and the spindle, and an elastic member interposed between the support body and the housing and connecting the support body and the housing so as to be movable relative to each other.
