What is claimed is: 1 . A method of treating skin comprising applying to the skin a composition including a compound of Formula (I) wherein the dotted lines represent simple or double bond; preferably one of the dotted line is a double bond; R 1 represent an H, a carbonated chain, linear, ringed, or ramified, saturated or unsaturated, comprising from 1 to 20 carbon atoms; R 2 represent a carbonated chain, linear, ringed, or ramified, saturated or unsaturated, comprising from 1 to 20 carbon atoms; preferably a methyl (—CH 3 ) or methylene (═CH 2 ) moiety; a represent a carbonated chain, linear, ringed, or ramified, saturated or unsaturated, comprising from 1 to 20 carbon atoms; preferably from 1 to 10 carbon atoms; more preferably 6 carbon atoms; preferably an aromatic moiety, preferably a phenyl moiety; preferably a 2-methyl-prop-1,3-diene; include the corresponding salts (Li + , Na + , K + , Ca + , Mg + . 2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the dotted lines are double bonds, R 2 is a methyl (—CH 3 ) or methylene (═CH 2 ) moiety and A is from 1 to 20 carbon atoms. 3 . The method of claim 2 wherein A is 6 carbon atoms. 4 . The method of claim 3 wherein A is an aromatic moiety. 5 . The method of claim 4 wherein A is a phenyl moiety. 6 . The method of claim 5 wherein A is 2-methyl-prop-1,3-diene. 7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said compound is (2E,4E,6E)-7-(1,1,2,2,3,3-hexamethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-5-yl)-3-methylocta-2,4,6-trienoic acid. 8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said compound is 4-(1-(1,1,2,2,3,3-hexamethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-5-yl)vinyl)benzoic acid.
