There is provided a negative electrode current collector that is used in contact with an aqueous electrolyte solution in an aqueous lithium ion secondary battery, including a surface in contact with the aqueous electrolyte solution, the surface including a material containing at least one selected from the group consisting of Ti, Pb, Zn, Sn, Mg, Zr and In as a main component.

What is claimed is: 1 . A negative electrode current collector for an aqueous lithium ion secondary battery, comprising: a surface in contact with an aqueous electrolyte solution, the surface including a material containing at least one selected from the group consisting of Ti, Pb, Zn, Sn, Mg, Zr and In as a main component. 2 . The negative electrode current collector according to claim 1 , wherein, the surface includes the material containing Ti as a main component. 3 . A negative electrode for an aqueous lithium ion secondary battery, comprising: the negative electrode current collector according to claim 1 ; and a negative electrode active material layer that includes a negative electrode active material and is in contact with the negative electrode current collector. 4 . The negative electrode according to claim 3 , wherein the negative electrode active material contains lithium titanate. 5 . An aqueous lithium ion secondary battery, comprising: the negative electrode current collector according to claim 1 ; a negative electrode active material layer that includes a negative electrode active material and is in contact with the negative electrode current collector; a positive electrode current collector; a positive electrode active material layer that includes a positive electrode active material and is in contact with the positive electrode current collector; and an aqueous electrolyte solution containing water and an electrolyte, wherein the negative electrode current collector is in contact with the aqueous electrolyte solution. 6 . The aqueous lithium ion secondary battery according to claim 5 , wherein the negative electrode active material contains lithium titanate. 7 . The aqueous lithium ion secondary battery according to claim 5 , wherein a pH of the aqueous electrolyte solution is within a range of 3 to 11. 8 . The aqueous lithium ion secondary battery according to claim 5 , wherein the electrolyte contains lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, and the aqueous electrolyte solution contains the lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide such that an amount of substance of the lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide is within a range of 7.5 mol to 12.5 mol per kg of the water. 9 . The aqueous lithium ion secondary battery according to claim 5 , wherein the positive electrode active material contains Li. 10 . The aqueous lithium ion secondary battery according to claim 9 , wherein the positive electrode active material contains Mn.
