A seal ring exhibits a sealing function even when fluid pressure is low. A first elastic body sealing portion 200 X is provided between a first front end surface 111 Xa of a first fitting projection 111 X and a first opposing surface 112 Ya so as to oppose the first front end surface 111 Xa, whereby the first elastic body sealing portion 200 X presses the first front end surface 111 Xa and the first opposing surface away from each other in a circumferential direction, and a second elastic body sealing portion 200 Y is provided between a second front end surface 111 Ya of a second fitting projection 111 Y and a second opposing surface 112 Xa so as to oppose the second front end surface 111 Ya, whereby the second elastic body sealing portion 200 Y presses the second front end surface 111 Ya and the second opposing surface 112 Xa away from each other in the circumferential direction.

1 . A seal ring that is mounted in an annular groove provided in an outer periphery of a shaft in order to seal an annular gap between the shaft and a housing that rotate relative to each other, thereby holding fluid pressure in a sealing subject region formed such that the fluid pressure therein varies, the seal ring comprising: a resin seal ring main body in which an abutment joint is provided in one location in a circumferential direction; and an elastic body that presses an end portion on a first side of a mating surface of the abutment joint and an end portion on a second side of the mating surface of the abutment joint in directions for forcing the respective end portions away from each other in the circumferential direction. 2 . The seal ring according to claim 1 , wherein the abutment joint is provided with a mating surface that takes the shape of a step when seen from an outer peripheral surface side thereof and wall surface sides on respective sides thereof, whereby a first fitting projection and a first fitting recess are provided on the outer peripheral side on a first side of the mating surface, and a second fitting recess, to which the first fitting projection is fitted, and a second fitting projection, which is fitted to the first fitting recess, are provided on the outer peripheral side on a second side of the mating surface, a first elastic body sealing portion is provided between a first front end surface on a circumferential direction front end of the first fitting projection and a first opposing surface provided on the second fitting recess so as to oppose the first front end surface, the first elastic body sealing portion serving as an elastic body that presses the first front end surface and the first opposing surface in directions for forcing the first front end surface and the first opposing surface away from each other in the circumferential direction, and a second elastic body sealing portion is provided between a second front end surface on a circumferential direction front end of the second fitting projection and a second opposing surface provided on the first fitting recess so as to oppose the second front end surface, the second elastic body sealing portion serving as an elastic body that presses the second front end surface and the second opposing surface in directions for forcing the second front end surface and the second opposing surface away from each other in the circumferential direction. 3 . The seal ring according to claim 2 , wherein the first elastic body sealing portion is fixed to one of the first front end surface and the first opposing surface, and the second elastic body sealing portion is fixed to one of the second front end surface and the second opposing surface. 4 . The seal ring according to claim 2 , wherein a circumferential length of an outer peripheral surface of the seal ring main body alone is set to be shorter than a circumferential length of an inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole in the housing, while a circumferential length of an outer peripheral surface of the entire seal ring, including the seal ring main body, the first elastic body sealing portion, and the second elastic body sealing portion, is set to be longer than the circumferential length of the inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole in the housing. 5 . The seal ring according to claim 1 , wherein the elastic body is a metal spring. 6 . The seal ring according to claim 3 , wherein a circumferential length of an outer peripheral surface of the seal ring main body alone is set to be shorter than a circumferential length of an inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole in the housing, while a circumferential length of an outer peripheral surface of the entire seal ring, including the seal ring main body, the first elastic body sealing portion, and the second elastic body sealing portion, is set to be longer than the circumferential length of the inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole in the housing.
