Described herein are molded dehydrated placental tissue compositions, and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. The compositions have numerous medical applications. Methods for making and using the molded dehydrated placental tissue compositions are also described herein.

What is claimed: 1 . A molded dehydrated placental tissue composition having a defined size and shape comprising at least one of micronized amnion, chorion, intermediate tissue layer, and any combination thereof, wherein said composition has a sufficient density and cohesiveness to maintain its size and shape for a defined period of time ex vivo and in vivo. 2 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the water content of the composition is less than about 20%, less than about 15%, less than about 10%, or less than about 5%. 3 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the micronized amnion, chorion, intermediate tissue layer, and any combination thereof has a particle size of less than about 400 μm, less than about 350 μm, less than about 300 μm, less than 4 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the amnion, amnion, chorion, intermediate tissue layer, or any combination thereof are cross-linked. 5 . A method for enhancing wound healing, the method comprising applying the composition of claim 1 at or near the site of the wound. 6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the placental tissue graft is administered sub-cutaneously, sub-dermally, intramuscularly, or at the periosteal interface. 7 . A pharmaceutical composition comprising the composition of claim 1 and optionally a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
