Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

The subject matter of the present invention is a motor vehicle door lock, in particular tailgate lock, which is provided with a locking mechanism (1, 2) essentially consisting of a rotary latch (1) and a pawl (2). Furthermore, as required, an unlocking/opening actuator (6) as well as a locking actuator (7) may be realised. In addition at least one sensor (12, 13) assigned to the locking actuator (7) is provided. According to the invention the sensor (12, 13) is arranged at a distance from a locking mechanism plane protected in the lock interior, and is impacted by means of an actuating element (14) following the locking actuator (7).

First claim

Opening claim text (preview).

1 . A motor vehicle door lock, in particular tailgate lock, with a locking mechanism essentially consisting of a rotary latch and a pawl, further with, as required, an unlocking/opening actuator and a locking actuator, and with at least one sensor assigned to the locking actuator, wherein the sensor is arranged at a distance from a locking mechanism plane, protected in the lock interior, and is impacted by means of an actuating element following the locking actuator. 2 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 1 , wherein the actuating element is configured as an actuating cam non-rotatably attached to the rotary latch. 3 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 1 , wherein the rotary latch, a closing lever and the actuating element are coaxially mounted preferably in this order and at a distance from one another on a common axis. 4 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 1 , wherein the actuating element and the sensor are arranged on a mounting plate which lies opposite a fish mouth of the locking mechanism and essentially covers the fish mouth when viewed from the top. 5 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 1 , wherein the actuating element and the sensor are covered by means of a housing. 6 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 5 , wherein the housing is detachably attached to the mounting plate. 7 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 5 , wherein the housing completely accommodates the actuating element and the sensor in conjunction with the mounting plate except for a reach-through slot for the actuating element. 8 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 1 , wherein both actuators are each designed in a modular manner and preferably so as to be sealed. 9 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 1 , wherein both actuators are optionally and detachably attached to a lock case. 10 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 1 , wherein both actuators are arranged on an L-shank of the lock case, which is L-shaped in cross-section, whilst the other L-shank supports the locking mechanism and the sensor. 11 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 1 , wherein the locking actuator and/or the unlocking/opening actuator each impact the closing lever/the pawl via a connecting means. 12 . The motor vehicle door lock according to, wherein two sensors are provided. 13 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 12 , wherein the two sensors during the closing operation of the locking mechanism, are impacted in sequence by means of the actuating element. 14 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 12 , wherein depending on whether a first sensor or a second sensor is impacted or whether both sensors are impacted, the functional positions differ between “open”, “start of closing”, “end of closing”/“closed” of the locking mechanism. 15 . The motor vehicle door lock according to claim 1 , wherein the sensor is configured as a switch, in particular as a micro-switch.
