Abstract

Provided is a remote control method and apparatus in a home network system including multiple home devices. The remote control method includes receiving operation state information from the respective multiple home devices, receiving a control command for operation control of at least one of the multiple home devices from a user device, determining a control target home device based on the control command, sending the control command to the determined control target home device, receiving processing result information corresponding to execution of the control command from the control target home device, and transmitting the processing result information to the user device.

First claim

What is claimed is:

1 . A method of a first device connected with at least one second device, the method comprising:
obtaining a voice command; determining a user profile corresponding to a user related to the voice command; recognizing the voice command based on a user-specific voice recognition by using the user profile; obtaining a control command based on the recognition of the voice command, the control command indicating information on a third device and an operation of the third device, wherein the third device is selected from among the at least one second device; and transmitting, to the third device, the control command.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
obtaining a plurality of user profiles corresponding to a plurality of users; and registering the plurality of user profiles, wherein the transmitting of the control command comprises:
transmitting, to the third device, the control command if the user profile is included in the plurality of user profiles.

3 . The method of claim 2 ,
wherein each of the plurality of user profiles includes user-specific voice information and authority information, wherein the user-specific voice information is used for voice recognition of each user, and wherein the authority information is used for operation control of the at least one second device in an authority range for each user.

4 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising:
outputting a first voice notification message indicating that the user profile is not registered, or outputting a second voice notification message indicating that the voice command is out of the authority range for each user.

5 . The method of claim 4 ,
wherein the control command further includes information on a location of the third device.

6 . A first device connected with at least one second device, the first device comprising:
a memory including a voice recognition module; a transceiver; and at least one processor coupled to the memory and the transceiver, wherein the at least one processor is configured to:
obtain a voice command,
determine a user profile corresponding to a user related to the voice command,
recognize the voice command based on a user-specific voice recognition by using the user profile,
obtain a control command based on the recognition of the voice command, the control command indicating a third device and an operation of the third device, wherein the third device is selected from among the at least one second device, and
transmit, to the third device, the control command.

7 . The first device of claim 6 ,
wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
obtain a plurality of user profiles corresponding to a plurality of users, and
register the plurality of user profiles, and
wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
transmit, to the third device, the control command if the user profile is included in the plurality of user profiles.

8 . The first device of claim 7 ,
wherein each of the plurality of user profiles includes user-specific voice information and authority information, wherein the user-specific voice information is used for voice recognition of each user, and wherein the authority information is used for operation control of the at least one second device in an authority range for each user.

9 . The first device of claim 7 ,
wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
output a first voice notification message indicating that the user profile is not registered, or
output a second voice notification message indicating that the voice command is out of the user authority range.

10 . The first device of claim 9 ,
wherein the control command further includes information on a location of the third device.

11 . A method of a user device connected with a first device, the method comprising:
obtaining information on at least one second device connected with the first device; obtaining a voice command; determining a user profile corresponding to a user related to the voice command; recognizing the voice command based on a user-specific voice recognition by using the user profile; obtaining a control command based on the recognition of the voice command, the control command indicating information on a third device and an operation of the third device, wherein the third device is selected from among the at least one second device; and transmitting, to the first device, the control command for the first device to forward the control command to the third device for the operation of the third device.

12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
obtaining a plurality of user profiles corresponding to a plurality of users; and registering the plurality of user profiles, wherein the transmitting of the control command comprises:
transmitting, to the third device, the control command if the user profile is included in the plurality of user profiles.

13 . The method of claim 12 ,
wherein each of the plurality of user profiles includes user-specific voice information and authority information, wherein the user-specific voice information is used for voice recognition of each user, and wherein the authority information is used for operation control of the at least one second device in an authority range for each user.

14 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:
outputting a first voice notification message indicating that the user profile is not registered or outputting a second voice notification message indicating that the voice command is out of the user authority range.

15 . The method of claim 14 ,
wherein the control command further includes information on a location of the third device.

16 . A user device connected with a first device, the user device comprising:
a transceiver; a storage configured to store an application including a voice recognition function; and at least one processor coupled to the transceiver and the storage, wherein the at least one processor is configured to:
obtain information on at least one second device connected with the first device,
obtain a voice command,
determine a user profile corresponding to a user related to the voice command,
recognize the voice command based on a user-specific voice recognition by using the user profile,
obtain a control command based on the recognition of the voice command, the control command indicating information on a third device and an operation of the third device, wherein the third device is selected from among the at least one second device, and
transmit, to the first device, the control command for the first device to forward the control command to the third device for the operation of the third device.

17 . The user device of claim 16 ,
wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
obtain a plurality of user profiles corresponding to a plurality of users, and
register the plurality of user profiles, and
wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
transmit, to the third device, the control command if the user profile is included in the plurality of user profiles.

18 . The user device of claim 17 ,
wherein each of the plurality of user profiles includes user-specific voice information and authority information, wherein the user-specific voice information is used for voice recognition of each user, and wherein the authority information is used for operation control of the at least one second device in an authority range for each user.
