Official abstract text for this publication.
A joining device with wide accessibility for parts of furniture and furnishing items, of a first panel to a second panel to be moved towards each other to bring an edge of the second panel abutted in a tightening position against a surface of the first panel, includes a blocking group and a connection group. The blocking group is inserted inside a seat defined within the first panel and receiving the blocking group, and includes a toothed crown, which is housed in a casing positioned in a first holing in the first panel and which controls the movement of a grub screw engaging a pin of the connection group. The casing includes a pair of half-shells that can be coupled with each other and that each contain a hole that is aligned on the two half- shells and with an additional holing of the shoulder intersecting the first holing.

The invention claimed is: 1 . A joining device with wide accessibility for parts of furniture and furnishing items, the joining device coupling a first panel ( 11 ) with a second panel ( 12 ) to be moved towards each other according to along an approach direction (d) in order to bring an edge (B) of the second panel abutted in a tightening position against a surface (S) of the first panel, said joining device comprising: a blocking group (GB) assembled on the first panel; and a connection group (GC) assembled on the second panel ( 11 , 12 ), wherein said blocking group (GB) is inserted inside a seat (S 1 ) contained in a thickness (SP) of the first panel ( 11 , 12 ), said seat (S 1 ) having a longitudinal axis (X) that is perpendicular to said approach direction (d), and extending from an edge (B 1 ) of the first panel towards an interior of the first panel, wherein said blocking group (GB) is configured to be actuated from at least a side of said seat (S 1 ) contained in said first panel, wherein said blocking group (GB) comprises a toothed crown ( 43 ) which is housed in a casing ( 39 , 40 ) positioned in a first holing ( 36 ) of said first panel ( 11 ) defining the seat and which controls a movement of a grub screw ( 35 ) adapted to be engaged on said connection group ( 33 ), and wherein said casing comprises two half-shells ( 39 , 40 ) coupled with each other and each containing at least one hole ( 42 , 42 ′) which is aligned on the two half-shells ( 39 , 40 ) and aligned with a second holing ( 37 ) of the first panel ( 11 ) which intersects said first holing ( 36 ). 2 . The joining device according to claim 1 , wherein said blocking group (GB) is adapted to be actuated from said second holing ( 37 ) and said connection group (GC) is a pin connection group adapted to be coupled with said first panel ( 11 ) from a third holing ( 38 ) produced in said shoulder ( 11 ), said second and third holings ( 37 , 38 ) being spaced from each other and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, and wherein, in correspondence with said second holing ( 37 ), a further hole (F) is aligned therewith, said further hole being defined on an opposite surface of said first panel ( 11 ). 3 . The joining device according to claim 1 , wherein said toothed crown ( 43 ) extends to define a threaded screw ( 44 ), which is positioned in a threaded hole ( 46 ) axial to and inside said grub screw ( 35 ). 4 . The joining device according to claim 1 , wherein said connection group comprises a pin ( 33 ) which has a threaded end ( 32 ) position in an internally threaded bush ( 31 ), situated in a fourth holing ( 30 ) in said second panel ( 12 ), said pin ( 33 ) having defined therein a housing ( 34 ) for said grub screw ( 35 ). 5 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein said blocking group (GB) is inserted inside said seat (S 1 ) which is contained in the thickness (SP) of the first panel ( 11 , 12 ), said seat (S 1 ) extending from the edge (B 1 ) of said first panel towards the inside of said first panel ( 11 , 12 ) according to the longitudinal axis (X).
