An aqueous ink composition containing, at least, water, a pigment (but excluding titanium oxides in which the pigment surface has been treated with an organic compound), a pigment dispersing resin, and two or more types of alkyl polyols having boiling points of at least 180° C. but not more than 250° C. at 1 atmosphere, wherein the pigment dispersing resin has an alkyl group of 10 to 36 carbon atoms, and the total amount of the alkyl polyols, relative to the total weight of the aqueous ink composition, is at least 10% by weight but not more than 30% by weight.

1 . An aqueous ink composition comprising, at least, water, a pigment (but excluding titanium oxides in which a pigment surface has been treated with an organic compound), a pigment dispersing resin, and two or more types of alkyl polyols having boiling points of at least 180° C. but not more than 250° C. at 1 atmosphere, wherein the pigment dispersing resin has an alkyl group of 10 to 36 carbon atoms, and a total amount of the alkyl polyols, relative to a total weight of the aqueous ink composition, is at least 10% by weight but not more than 30% by weight. 2 . The aqueous ink composition according to claim 1 , wherein the pigment dispersing resin has an acid value of 50 to 400 mgKOH/g. 3 . The aqueous ink composition according to claim 1 , wherein the alkyl polyols comprise an alkanediol. 4 . The aqueous ink composition according to claim 1 , wherein the alkyl polyols are composed solely of alkanediols. 5 . The aqueous ink composition according to claim 3 , wherein at least one alkanediol is a 1,2-alkanediol of at least 5 carbon atoms, and an amount of the 1,2-alkanediol of at least 5 carbon atoms, relative to a total weight of the aqueous ink composition, is greater than 10% by weight but not more than 30% by weight. 6 . The aqueous ink composition according to claim 3 , wherein the alkanediol comprises at least one of 1,2-pentanediol and 1,2-hexanediol, and a total amount of 1,2-pentanediol and 1,2-hexanediol, relative to a total weight of the aqueous ink composition, is not more than 15% by weight. 7 . The aqueous ink composition according to claim 6 , wherein the alkanediol further comprises 1,2-butanediol, and a total amount of the alkanediols, relative to a total weight of the aqueous ink composition, is at least 15% by weight but not more than 30% by weight. 8 . The aqueous ink composition according to claim 3 , wherein the alkanediol comprises 1,2-butanediol but do not comprise 1,2-pentanediol or 1,2-hexanediol, and an amount of the 1,2-butanediol, relative to the total weight of the aqueous ink composition, is at least 10% by weight. 9 . An aqueous ink composition comprising, at least, water, a pigment (but excluding titanium oxides in which a pigment surface has been treated with an organic compound), a pigment dispersing resin, and two or more types of alkyl polyols having boiling points of at least 180° C. but not more than 250° C. at 1 atmosphere, wherein the alkyl polyols are selected from the group consisting of 1,2-propanediol, 1,2-butanediol, ethylene glycol, 2-methylpentan-2,4-diol, dibutylene glycol, 3-methyl-1,3-butanediol, 1,3 -butanediol, 1,2-pentandiol, 1,3 -propanediol, 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol, 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol, 1,2-hexanediol, 2-ethyl-2-methyl-1,3-propanediol, 1,2-heptanediol, 1,4-butanediol, 2-methyl-2-propyl-1,3-propanediol, dipropylene glycol, 1,5-pentanediol, 2-ethyl-1,3-hexanediol, 3-methyl-1,5-pentanediol and 1,6-hexanediol, the pigment dispersing resin has an alkyl group of 10 to 36 carbon atoms, and a total amount of the alkyl polyols, relative to a total weight of the aqueous ink composition, is at least 10% by weight but not more than 30% by weight. 10 . The aqueous ink composition according to claim 1 , which is used for an inkjet application. 11 . A printed item obtained by printing the aqueous ink composition according to claim 1 onto a substrate.
