Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A surface layer including a base material made of a conductor and dispersed particles dispersed in the base material is formed on a surface of a fixed contact, and the dispersed particles each include a base particle that is metal oxide and a coating layer formed on an outer surface of the base particle.

1 . A contact member in which a surface layer is formed on a surface of the contact member, the surface layer comprising a base material made of a conductor and dispersed particles dispersed in the base material, wherein the dispersed particles each comprise a base particle that is metal oxide and a coating layer formed on an outer surface of the base particle. 2 . The contact member according to claim 1 , wherein the surface layer is a plated layer. 3 . The contact member according to claim 2 , wherein in the coating layer, solubility to a solution having pH of 3 to 11 is less than 3000 ppm. 4 . The contact member according to claim 1 , wherein the base particle is at least one kind of metal oxide selected from a group consisting of zinc oxide, tin oxide, indium oxide, and copper oxide. 5 . The contact member according to claim 1 , wherein the coating layer is at least one kind selected from a group consisting of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, and nickel. 6 . A sliding contact comprising: the contact member according to claim 1 ; a fixed contact; and a movable contact switchable between contact and non-contact with the fixed contact, wherein the movable contact is slidable with respect to the fixed contact during contact with the fixed contact, and at least one of the fixed contact and the movable contact is the contact member. 7 . An electrical device configured to switch between energization and deenergization, the electric device comprising the contact member according to claim 1 . 8 . A method for producing the contact member according to claim 1 , the method comprising forming a surface layer comprising a base material made of a conductor and dispersed particles dispersed in the base material on a surface of the contact member, wherein the dispersed particles each comprise a base particle that is metal oxide and a coating layer formed on an outer surface of the base particle. 9 . The method for producing the contact member according to claim 8 , wherein forming the surface layer is performed by plating. 10 . The contact member according to claim 2 , wherein the base particle is at least one kind of metal oxide selected from a group consisting of zinc oxide, tin oxide, indium oxide, and copper oxide. 11 . The contact member according to claim 3 , wherein the base particle is at least one kind of metal oxide selected from a group consisting of zinc oxide, tin oxide, indium oxide, and copper oxide. 12 . The contact member according to claim 2 , wherein the coating layer is at least one kind selected from a group consisting of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, and nickel. 13 . The contact member according to claim 3 , wherein the coating layer is at least one kind selected from a group consisting of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, and nickel. 14 . The contact member according to claim 4 , wherein the coating layer is at least one kind selected from a group consisting of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, and nickel. 15 . The contact member according to claim 10 , wherein the coating layer is at least one kind selected from a group consisting of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, and nickel. 16 . The contact member according to claim 11 , wherein the coating layer is at least one kind selected from a group consisting of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, and nickel. 17 . An electrical device configured to switch between energization and deenergization, the electric device comprising the sliding contact according to claim 6 .
