The purpose of the present invention is to provide a parking assist device for a vehicle such that the vehicle can be parked without decreasing or excessively increasing the speed or causing the vehicle to stop during assisted parking, the speed of the host vehicle is kept constant even immediately after an obstacle or a bump is cleared, and the vehicle is prevented from colliding with any other parked vehicle. The device calculates a speed command value and/or an engine torque command value in consideration of the acceleration/deceleration of the vehicle and controls the speed of the vehicle on the basis of the calculated speed command value and/or the engine torque command value, said acceleration/deceleration being predicted in advance on the basis of the height and distance of an obstacle and/or a bump that is present in a parking path, the gradient of the road surface, and the steering angle.

1 . A parking assist device for a vehicle, comprising: a speed/torque command value calculation unit; a speed/torque command value addition unit; an obstacle recognition unit; and a road surface shape recognition unit. 2 . A parking assist device for a vehicle that calculates a speed command value or/and an engine torque amount command value, obtained by predicting acceleration or deceleration of the vehicle in advance on the basis of each height of an obstacle and a step inside a parking path, each distance to the obstacle and step, a gradient of a road surface condition, and a steering angle, and controls speed of the vehicle on the basis of the calculated speed command value or/and engine torque amount command value. 3 . The parking assist device for a vehicle according to claim 2 , wherein when an obstacle is detected by an obstacle recognition unit, the speed command value or/and engine torque amount command value to be calculated are set to be high as compared with a case where no obstacle is detected. 4 . The parking assist device for a vehicle according to claim 2 , wherein the speed command value or/and engine torque amount command value to be calculated are set to be high or low depending on the steering angle and a gradient of a road surface shape in a parking lot. 5 . The parking assist device for a vehicle according to claim 2 , capable of making own vehicle speed of the vehicle constant even immediately after overcoming an obstacle and a step while outputting a speed command value or/and an engine torque amount command value added with a certain amount to overcome the obstacle and step and applying a brake so as to set constant vehicle speed. 6 . The parking assist device for a vehicle according to claim 2 , wherein control is performed such that the vehicle moves to a parking frame in an idling stop state when it is determined that the vehicle is movable to a target position even in an engine stop state. 7 . The parking assist device for a vehicle according to claim 2 , comprising means for asking a driver about an intention as to whether to overcome an obstacle when the vehicle stops against the obstacle during assisted parking.
