Official abstract text for this publication.
Communication network architectures, systems and methods for supporting a network of mobile and/or static nodes. As a non-limiting example, various aspects of this disclosure provide communication network architectures, systems, and methods for supporting a dynamically configurable communication network comprising a complex array of both static and moving communication nodes (e.g., the Internet of moving things, autonomous vehicle networks, etc.). For example, various aspects of this disclosure provide communication network architectures, systems and methods for managing digital advertising campaigns in a network of moving things (e.g., including manually operated and/or autonomous vehicles, etc.). As a non-limiting example, vehicle mobility and/or context may be utilized to effectively distribute and control distribution of ad campaigns. Additionally, various aspects of this disclosure provide systems and methods by which such ad campaigns may be specified (or defined) by a user.

What is claimed is: 1 . A method for presenting advertising information, the method comprising: receiving advertising information at a Mobile Access Point (MAP) of a vehicle; determining context of the vehicle; analyzing the context of the vehicle to determine whether and/or how to present at least a portion of the received advertising information on a display of the vehicle; and managing presentation of the at least a portion of the received advertising information on the display. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle context information comprises vehicle speed. 3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle context information comprises vehicle trajectory. 4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle context information comprises vehicle orientation. 5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle context information comprises vehicle travel conditions. 6 . The method of claim 1 , comprising analyzing another vehicle's context information to determine whether and/or how to present the received advertising information on the display of the vehicle. 7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the display comprises an external display of the vehicle. 8 . The method of claim 1 , comprising analyzing the context of the vehicle to determine whether and/or how to present the at least a portion of the received advertising information on a second display of the vehicle. 9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein presentation of the at least a portion of the received advertising information on the second display of the vehicle is independent of presentation of the at least a portion of the received advertising information on the display of the vehicle. 10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the received advertising information comprises advertising media content to be presented and advertising campaign control information indicating vehicle context parameters under which the advertising media content is to be presented. 11 . A method for presenting media information, the method comprising: receiving advertising information at a Mobile Access Point (MAP) of a vehicle from a second node of a communication network; determining context of the vehicle; analyzing the context of the vehicle to determine whether and/or how to communicate the received advertising information to a third node of the communication network; and communicating the received advertising information to the third node of the communication network. 12 . The method of claim 11 , comprising: analyzing the context of the vehicle to determine whether and/or how to present at least a portion of the received advertising information on a display of the vehicle; and managing presentation of the at least a portion of the received advertising information on the display. 13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the second node comprises a second Mobile Access Point (MAP). 14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the third node comprises a third Mobile Access Point (MAP). 15 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the third node comprises a video display system independent of the vehicle. 16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the third node comprises a stationary advertisement display system. 17 . A communication network node comprising: at least one module operable to, at least: receive advertising information at a Mobile Access Point (MAP) of a vehicle; determine context of the vehicle; analyze the context of the vehicle to determine whether and/or how to present at least a portion of the received advertising information on a display of the vehicle; and manage presentation of the at least a portion of the received advertising information on the display. 18 . The node of claim 17 , wherein the vehicle context information comprises vehicle speed. 19 . The node of claim 17 , wherein the vehicle context information comprises vehicle trajectory. 20 . The node of claim 17 , wherein the vehicle context information comprises vehicle orientation. 21 . The node of claim 17 , wherein the vehicle context information comprises vehicle travel conditions. 22 . The node of claim 17 , wherein the at least one module is operable to analyzing another vehicle's context information to determine whether and/or how to present the received advertising information on the display of the vehicle. 23 . The node of claim 17 , wherein the display comprises an external display of the vehicle. 24 . The node of claim 17 , wherein the at least one module is operable to analyze the context of the vehicle to determine whether and/or how to present the at least a portion of the received advertising information on a second display of the vehicle. 25 . The node of claim 24 , wherein presentation of the at least a portion of the received advertising information on the second display of the vehicle is independent of presentation of the at least a portion of the received advertising information on the display of the vehicle. 26 . The node of claim 17 , wherein the received advertising information comprises advertising media content to be presented and advertising campaign control information indicating vehicle context parameters under which the advertising media content is to be presented. 27 . A communication network node comprising: at least one module operable to, at least: receive advertising information at a Mobile Access Point (MAP) of a vehicle from a second node of a communication network; determine context of the vehicle; analyze the context of the vehicle to determine whether and/or how to communicate the received advertising information to a third node of the communication network; and communicate the received advertising information to the third node of the communication network. 28 . The node of claim 27 , wherein the at least one module is operable to: analyze the context of the vehicle to determine whether and/or how to present at least a portion of the received advertising information on a display of the vehicle; and manage presentation of the at least a portion of the received advertising information on the display 29 . The node of claim 27 , wherein the second node is a second Mobile Access Point (MAP). 30 . The node of claim 29 , wherein the third node is a third Mobile Access Point (MAP). 31 . The node of claim 27 , wherein the third node comprises a video display system independent of the vehicle. 32 . The node of claim 27 , wherein the third node comprises a stationary advertisement display system.
