A kitchen workspace and a method of organizing a kitchen workspace is set forth. The kitchen workspace is consolidated into a small footprint area with automated vertical storage shelves for storing and housing kitchen items and kitchen appliances. The automated storage shelves may be provided with electrical power for powering kitchen appliances found on the shelves. Kitchen appliances may be rotated around the automated storage shelves while the appliances are being used. One or more food cooking devices above a sink are able to be moved while being fixed to a kitchen wall.

A kitchen workspace comprising: a sink; and one or more food cooking devices attached to a movable fixture above the sink, wherein the one or more food cooking devices are operationally functional while moving the one or more food cooking devices within the kitchen workspace. 2 . The kitchen workspace of claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of automated shelves located behind the one or more food cooking devices, at least one of the automated shelves being accessible within the kitchen workspace and a majority of the plurality of automated shelves being hidden from the kitchen workspace. 3 . The kitchen workspace of claim 2 , wherein electrical power is supplied to at least some of the plurality of automated shelves. 4 . The kitchen workspace of claim 2 , wherein at least some of the plurality of automated shelves are located behind the sink. 5 . The kitchen workspace of claim 2 , wherein a kitchen appliance is electrically powered and operational while sitting on one shelf of the plurality of automated shelves. 6 . The kitchen workspace of claim 2 , wherein a kitchen appliance is operational while sitting on a shelf of the plurality of automated shelves and while the plurality of automated shelves are moving. 7 . The kitchen workspace of claim 2 , wherein more than one kitchen appliance is operational while sitting on one or more of the plurality of automated shelves and while the plurality of automated shelves are moving. 8 . The kitchen workspace of claim 1 , wherein the one or more food cooking devices include one or more of: microwaves, stoves, ovens, ranges, convection ovens, or toaster ovens. 9 . The kitchen workspace of claim 1 , further comprising a cooktop device built into a counter top of the kitchen workspace. 10 . The kitchen workspace of claim 2 , further comprising a refrigerator in front of the plurality of automated shelves. 11 . A method of organizing a workspace, the method comprising: providing a sink; providing one or more moveable food cooking devices attached to a moveable fixture above the sink, wherein the one or more food cooking devices are operationally functional while moving the one or more cooking devices within the kitchen workspace. 12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising a plurality of automated shelves located behind the one or more food cooking devices, at least one of the automated shelves being accessible within the kitchen workspace and a majority of the plurality of automated shelves being hidden from the kitchen workspace. 13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein electrical power is supplied to at least some of the plurality of automated shelves. 14 . The method of claim 12 , wherein at least some of the plurality of automated shelves are located behind the sink. 15 . The method of claim 12 , wherein a kitchen appliance is electrically powered and operational while sitting on one shelf of the plurality of automated shelves. 16 . The method of claim 12 , wherein a kitchen appliance is operational while sitting on a shelf of the plurality of automated shelves and while the plurality of automated shelves are moving. 17 . The method of claim 12 , wherein more than one kitchen appliance is operational while sitting on one or more of the plurality of automated shelves and while the plurality of automated shelves are moving. 18 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the one or more food cooking devices include one or more of: microwaves, stoves, ovens, ranges, convection ovens, or toaster ovens. 19 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising a cooktop device built into a counter top of the kitchen workspace. 20 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising a refrigerator in front of the plurality of automated shelves.
