1 . A golf club head, comprising: a hosel; a ball striking face member; a sole member extending aftward from a lower edge of the face, wherein the sole member defines a perimeter edge and includes a recess in the perimeter edge; a crown member extending aftward from an upper edge of the face, wherein the crown member defines a perimeter edge and includes a recess in the perimeter edge, wherein the perimeter edge of the crown member is coupled to the perimeter edge of the sole member to form a seam, and wherein the recess in the perimeter edge of the crown combines with the recess in the perimeter edge of the sole to form a weight aperture; and a weight member, wherein the weight member includes a portion that extends into an interior cavity of the golf club head through the weight aperture, wherein the weight member is coupled to at least one of the sole member and the crown member. 2 . The golf club head of claim 1 , wherein the sole member includes a plurality of recesses in the perimeter edge of the sole member, wherein the crown member includes a plurality of recesses in the perimeter edge of the crown member, and wherein the recesses in the perimeter edge of the crown member combine with the recesses in the perimeter edge of the sole member to form a plurality of weight apertures. 3 . The golf club head of claim 2 , wherein the weight member includes a plurality of posts that extend into the plurality of weight apertures. 4 . The golf club head of claim 3 , wherein the posts are welded to at least one of the sole member and the crown member. 5 . The golf club head of claim 3 , wherein the posts include an end having an outer dimension greater than the inner dimension of the weight aperture to provide a riveted connection of the weight member to the golf club head. 6 . The golf club head of claim 2 , wherein the golf club head includes a plurality of weight members, wherein a weight member is coupled to each of the plurality of weight apertures. 7 . The golf club head of claim 2 , wherein the weight member includes an exposed body and a flange, wherein the flange forms an elongate undercut dovetail member and extends through the weight aperture, and wherein the flange is captured by the weight aperture. 8 . A golf club head, comprising: a hosel; a ball striking face member; a sole member extending aftward from a lower edge of the face, wherein the sole member defines a perimeter edge, wherein a portion of the perimeter edge includes a shoulder that is recessed toward the interior of the golf club head; a crown member extending aftward from an upper edge of the face, wherein the crown member defines a perimeter edge, wherein a portion of the perimeter edge includes a shoulder that is recessed toward the interior of the golf club head, wherein the perimeter edge of the crown member is coupled to the perimeter edge of the sole member to form a seam, and wherein the shoulder of the sole member combines with the shoulder of the crown member to form an elongate weight recess; and a weight member, wherein the weight member includes a portion that extends into the weight recess. 9 . The golf club head of claim 8 , wherein the weight recess is an undercut channel, and wherein the weight member includes a flange that extends into the undercut recess and is trapped in the recess. 10 . The golf club head of claim 8 , wherein the seam is coupled by a weld and the weld is coupled to the weight member. 11 . The golf club head of claim 8 , wherein the sole member includes an exterior wall portion disposed at the perimeter edge and spaced from the shoulder that combines with the shoulder to form a double walled portion, wherein the crown member includes an exterior wall portion disposed at the perimeter edge that combines with the shoulder to form a double walled portion. 12 . The golf club head of claim 11 , wherein the double walled portion of the sole member aligns with the double walled portion of the crown member to define a weight cavity, and wherein the weight member is disposed inside the weight cavity. 13 . The golf club head of claim 12 , wherein the weight member includes a weight body and a plurality of projections extending outward from an outer surface of the weight body, wherein the projections space the weight body from an interior surface of the weight cavity. 14 . The golf club head of claim 13 , further comprising an encasing material disposed in the space between the weight body and the interior surface of the weight cavity. 15 . The golf club head of claim 13 , wherein the weight body includes an aperture extending through the thickness of the weight body. 16 . A golf club head, comprising: a hosel; a ball striking face member; a sole member extending aftward from a lower edge of the face, wherein the sole member defines a perimeter edge and includes a plurality of recesses spaced from the perimeter edge; a crown member extending aftward from an upper edge of the face, wherein the perimeter edge of the crown member is coupled to the perimeter edge of the sole member to form a seam; and a weight member, wherein the weight member includes a portion that extends into an interior cavity of the golf club head through the weight aperture, wherein the weight member is coupled to the sole member. 17 . The golf club head of claim 16 , wherein the weight member includes a plurality of posts that extend into the plurality of recesses. 18 . The golf club head of claim 17 , wherein the posts are welded to the sole member. 19 . The golf club head of claim 17 , wherein the posts include an end having an outer dimension greater than the inner dimension of the weight aperture to provide a riveted connection of the weight member to the golf club head. 20 . The golf club head of claim 17 , wherein the recesses are disposed within about 10 mm of the perimeter edge of the sole.
