Embodiments of the claimed subject matter provide systems and methods for configuring and connecting a controller to a game streaming service. The system includes a plurality of input controls and a network controller configured for communicating with a game streaming service. The system further includes a processor coupled to the plurality of input controls and the network controller. The processor is configured communicate with the game streaming service to login to a game streaming service account and communicate input from the plurality of controls to the game streaming service. The system further includes a power source configured to provide power to the plurality of input controls, the network controller, and the processor.

What is claimed is: 1 . A handheld game controller comprising: a plurality of input controls configured to receive user input; network circuitry configured for communicating with a game streaming service through a communication network; a processor coupled to the plurality of input controls and the network circuitry, wherein the processor is configured to communicate with the game streaming service with respect to a game streaming service account and to communicate user input received from the plurality of controls to the game streaming service, wherein communication between the processor and the game streaming service is performed without using a gaming console; and a power source configured to provide power to the plurality of input controls, the network circuitry, and the processor. 2 . The handheld game controller of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to communicate user input received from the plurality of controls with the game streaming service without repackaging user input information. 3 . The handheld game controller of claim 1 further comprising: an audio interface configured for receiving input audio and outputting audio, wherein the audio interface is couple to at least one of a headset and a pair of headphones. 4 . The handheld game controller of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to communicate with the game streaming service with respect to the game streaming service account through a wireless access point and to communicate user input received from the plurality of controls to the game streaming service through the wireless access point. 5 . The handheld game controller of claim 1 , wherein the network circuitry is configured for receiving game feedback information from the game streaming service. 6 . The handheld game controller of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured for receiving network information associated with a wireless access point from a computing device to communicate with the game streaming service, wherein the computing device comprises a display device and is configured to execute a game client. 7 . The handheld game controller of claim 1 further comprising: a memory for storing information associated with the game streaming service account and one or more communication networks. 8 . A method of controlling a game at a game controller, the method comprising: connecting a game controller to a wireless access point, wherein the wireless access point is communicatively coupled to a game streaming service; sending game streaming service account information from the game controller to the game streaming service; sending a selection of a game to the game streaming service, wherein the game is jointly controlled by the game controller and a plurality of additional game controllers; receiving a user input at the game controller; and sending the input from the game controller via the wireless access point for receipt by the game streaming service; at an audio device on the game controller, outputting first audio information transmitted from the game streaming service, wherein the first audio information is individualized specifically for the game controller and different from another audio information transmitted from the game streaming service to the plurality of additional game controllers. 9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the input comprises a button press on the game controller. 10 . The method of claim 8 further comprising: sending an indicator indicating whether an audio device is coupled to the game controller. 11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the indicator indicates whether at least one of a headset or a pair of headphones is coupled to the game controller. 12 . The method of claim 10 further comprising: receiving the first audio information at the audio device in response to the indicator. 13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the plurality of additional game controllers are coupled to the wireless access point. 14 . The method of claim 8 further comprising: connecting to a wireless network having an identifier matching a default network name; receiving network information associated with the wireless access point; and receiving the game streaming service account information; and disconnecting from the wireless network having the identifier matching the default network name. 15 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising: receiving a voice command; and sending the voice command to the game streaming service. 16 . A method for streaming a game, the method comprising: receiving account information for a game streaming service from a display device via a network connection; receiving game streaming service account information from a game controller; receiving a selection of a game of the game streaming service from the game controller; executing the game; sending output of the game to the display device via the network connection; and sending an individualized audio stream to the game controller based on user input received at the game controller during the game. 17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the game streaming service account information from the game controller is sent from the game controller to a wireless access point without involving a game console. 18 . The method of claim 16 further comprising: receiving an input from the game controller; and sending a result of the input to the display device, wherein the result comprises one or more images. 19 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the display device is an internet connected television. 20 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the display device comprises a processor configured to execute a game client that is coupled to the game streaming service. 21 . A gaming apparatus for use with a game streaming service, the gaming apparatus comprising: a plurality of input controls; a memory device; a network controller coupled to the memory device and configured to communicate with the game streaming service independent of any intermediate device; and a processor coupled to the plurality of input controls, the memory device, and the network controller, wherein the processor is configured to communicate signals from the plurality of input controls to the game streaming service through the network controller independent of any intermediate device. 22 . The gaming apparatus of claim 21 , wherein the processor is configured to communicate with the game streaming service through the network controller and independent of any intermediate device to login to a game streaming service account. 23 . The gaming apparatus of claim 21 further comprising an audio interface configured for receiving input audio and outputting audio, wherein the audio interface is coupled to at least one of a headset and a pair of headphones. 24 . The gaming apparatus of claim 23 , wherein the audio interface is further configured to output first audio information transmitted from the game streaming service during a game, wherein the first audio information is individualized specifically for the gaming apparatus and is different from another audio information transmitted from the game streaming service to a plurality of gaming apparatuses, wherein the game is jointly controlled by the gaming apparatus and the plurality of gaming apparatuses. 25 .
