What is claimed is: 1 . A display device, comprising: a plurality of pixels each including a light emitting region; and a light blocking layer provided on a side of the plurality of pixels on which light is output; wherein in each of the plurality pixels, the light blocking layer has a plurality of openings located above the light emitting region and allowing light from the light emitting region to be output. 2 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein in the light blocking layer, the openings adjacent to each other are located line-symmetrically. 3 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein in the light blocking layer, the openings adjacent to each other are located point-symmetrically. 4 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the openings are generally quadrangular. 5 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the openings are polygonal. 6 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the openings are generally circular. 7 . The display device according to claim 1 , further comprising a bank demarcating the light emitting region of each of the plurality of pixels, wherein a region demarcated by the bank has a size approximately equal to, or larger than, a total size of the openings. 8 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the light blocking layer has a plurality of second openings each located in a non-light emitting region between the plurality of pixels.
