A control system for a vehicle for transferring data from a communication device, which may include at least one control interface configured to receive a first input from a driver and a display configured to generate an output visible to the driver. The control system may also include a controller in communication with the communication device, the at least one control interface, and the display. The controller may be configured to receive data from the communication device and generate and output a query to the display based on the data. The controller may also be configured to receive the first input from at least one control interface and output the data to the display based on the first input.

What is claimed is: 1 . A control system for a vehicle for transferring data received from a communication device, the control system comprising: at least one control interface configured to receive a first input from a vehicle occupant; a display configured to generate an output visible to the vehicle occupant; and a controller in communication with the communication device, the at least one control interface, the display, and the controller being configured to: receive data from the communication device; generate and output a query to the display based on the data; receive the first input from the at least one control interface; and output the data to the display based on the first input. 2 . The control system of claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured to receive a second input, and not output data associated with the second input based on the second input. 3 . The control system of claim 2 , wherein the controller is configured to delete the data associated with the second input from the controller based on the second input. 4 . The control system of claim 3 , wherein the controller is configured to initiate deletion of data associated with the second input from the communication device from which the data was received. 5 . The control system of claim 1 , wherein the display includes a head-up display. 6 . The control system of claim 1 , wherein the query relates to at least one of a source of the data, a type of the data, and a portion of the data. 7 . The control system of claim 1 , wherein the data includes turn-by-turn directions. 8 . The control system of claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured to automatically receive data from the communication device when the communication device is connected to a local network. 9 . The control system of claim 8 , wherein the controller is configured to automatically receive data that is sent to the communication device when the communication device is connected to the local network. 10 . A method of transferring data from a communication device to a vehicle, the method comprising: receiving data from the communication device; generating and outputting a query to a display based on the data; receiving a first input from at least one control interface; and outputting the data to the display based on the first input. 11 . The method of claim 10 , further including: receiving a second set of data from the communication device; generating and outputting a query to the display based on the second set of data; receiving a second input from the at least one control interface; and not outputting the second set of data to the display based on the second input. 12 . The method of claim 11 , further including deleting the second set of data from the controller based on the second input. 13 . The method of claim 12 , further including initiating the deletion of the second set of data from the communication device from which the data was received. 14 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the outputting the query includes projecting the query on a windshield of the vehicle. 15 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the outputting the query includes outputting at least one of a source of the data, a type of the data, and a portion of the data. 16 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the outputting the data includes outputting turn-by-turn directions. 17 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the receiving data includes automatically receiving data from the communication device when the communication device is connected to a local network. 18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the receiving data further includes automatically receiving data that is sent to the communication device when the communication device is connected to the local network. 19 . A vehicle operated by a driver comprising: a control system for processing data from a communication device to the vehicle, the control system comprising: at least one control interface configured to receive at least a first input from the driver; a display configured to generate an output visible to a vehicle occupant; and a controller in communication with the communication device, the at least one control interface, the display, and the controller being configured to: receive data from the communication device; generate and output a query to the display based on the data; receive the first input from the at least one control interface; and output the data to the display based on the first input. 20 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions which, when executed, cause one or more processors to perform a method of transferring data from a communication device to a vehicle, the method comprising: receiving data from the communication device; generating and outputting a query to the display based on the data; receiving a first input from the at least one control interface; and outputting the data to the display based on the first input.
