Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

There is provided a photoelectric conversion element in which a porous semiconductor layer is prevented from being detached from an upper supporting body, wherein a photoelectric conversion layer, a collecting electrode, an insulating layer, and a counter electrode are disposed between an upper supporting body and a lower supporting body in this order from the upper supporting body side, the upper supporting body being located at a light incidence side and having a light transmission property, the lower supporting body being located opposite to the upper supporting body, the photoelectric conversion layer having a porous semiconductor layer, a carrier transport material being included between the upper supporting body and the lower supporting body, and an adhesion portion having a film thickness of 0.5 to 10 nm is disposed at least adjacent to and between the upper supporting body and the porous semiconductor layer.

1 .- 5 . (canceled) 6 . A dye-sensitized solar cell comprising: a first supporting body having a light transmission property; a second supporting body located opposite to the first supporting body; a porous semiconductor layer disposed between the first supporting body and the second supporting body and including a photosensitizing dye; a collecting electrode disposed between the porous semiconductor layer and the second supporting body; an insulating layer disposed between the collecting electrode and the second supporting body; a counter electrode disposed between the insulating layer and the second supporting body; a metal film disposed between the first supporting body and the porous semiconductor layer and including metal particles; and a carrier transport material filling a portion between the first supporting body and the second supporting body, the metal film having a film thickness of not less than 0.5 nm. 7 . The dye-sensitized solar cell according to claim 6 , wherein the metal particles are selected from Ti, Ta, Mo, and a mixture thereof. 8 . The dye-sensitized solar cell according to claim 6 , wherein the metal film has a film thickness of not more than 15 nm. 9 . The dye-sensitized solar cell according to claim 8 , wherein the metal film has a film thickness of not more than 10 nm. 10 . The dye-sensitized solar cell according to claim 6 , further comprising a first sealing member provided on the first supporting body and surrounding a side surface of the porous semiconductor layer. 11 . The dye-sensitized solar cell according to claim 10 , wherein the collecting electrode covers a portion of the first sealing member. 12 . The dye-sensitized solar cell according to claim 11 , wherein the insulating layer covers portions of the collecting electrode and the first sealing member, and the counter electrode covers a portion of the insulating layer. 13 . The dye-sensitized solar cell according to claim 11 , wherein the metal film is disposed between the first supporting body and the first sealing member. 14 . The dye-sensitized solar cell according to claim 11 , wherein the metal film is disposed between the first supporting body and the insulating layer. 15 . The dye-sensitized solar cell according to claim 6 , further comprising: a second sealing member configured to seal a space from the insulating layer and the counter electrode to the second supporting body; and a carrier transport layer including the carrier transport material in a space formed by the insulating layer, the counter electrode, the second supporting body, and the second sealing member. 16 . The dye-sensitized solar cell according to claim 6 , wherein the porous semiconductor layer includes two or more porous semiconductor layers. 17 . A dye-sensitized solar cell module comprising the dye-sensitized solar cells recited in claim 6 and connected in series.
