An information processing apparatus that communicates with a communication apparatus includes a connecting unit that connects to a first access point in the communication apparatus, a connection-information acquisition unit that acquires connection information for connecting to a second access point in the communication apparatus via the first access point, a storage unit that stores the acquired connection information in a memory, and a receiving unit that receives an instruction to transmit data. Upon receipt of an instruction to transmit data when the connecting unit is not connected to the second access point, the connecting unit connects to the second access point using the stored connection information stored in the storage unit, and when the connecting unit is connected to the second access point, the first access point is disabled.

What is claimed is: 1 . An information processing apparatus configured to communicate with a communication apparatus, the information processing apparatus comprising: a connecting unit configured to connect to a first access point in the communication apparatus without receiving input of connection information; a connection-information acquisition unit configured to acquire connection information for connecting to a second access point in the communication apparatus via the first access point connected to the connecting unit; a storage unit configured to store the connection information acquired by the connection-information acquisition unit in a memory; and a receiving unit configured to receive an instruction to transmit data, wherein, when the receiving unit receives an instruction to transmit data in a state where the connecting unit is not connected to the second access point, the connecting unit connects to the second access point using the connection information stored in the storage unit, and wherein, when the connecting unit is connected to the second access point, the first access point is disabled. 2 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a transmitting unit configured to, when the receiving unit receives an instruction to transmit data, transmit the data to the communication apparatus via the second access point connected to the connecting unit, wherein, when the transmitting unit terminates data transmission, the connecting unit releases connection to the second access point. 3 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising: a transmitting unit configured to, when the receiving unit receives an instruction to transmit data, transmit the data to the communication apparatus via the second access point connected to the connecting unit; and a second connecting unit configured to connect to a mobile communication network that communicates with the Internet, wherein, when the receiving unit receives an instruction to transmit the data, the second connecting unit releases connection to the mobile communication network, and when the transmitting unit terminates data transmission, the second connecting unit connects to the mobile communication network. 4 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a processing unit configured to execute a setting process for enabling the second access point. 5 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 4 , further comprising a functional-information acquisition unit configured to, when the processing unit executes the setting process for enabling the second access point, acquire functional information regarding the communication apparatus from the communication apparatus, wherein, when the setting process for enabling the second access point is executed, the connecting unit connects to the second access point using the connection information stored in the storage unit, and when the functional-information acquisition unit acquires the functional information, the connecting unit releases connection to the second access point. 6 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a processing unit configured to execute a setting process for connecting the communication apparatus to an external access point separate from the information processing apparatus and the communication apparatus, wherein the connecting unit connects to the external access point. 7 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a transmitting unit configured to, when the receiving unit receives an instruction to transmit data, transmit the data to the communication apparatus via an access point connected to the connecting unit, wherein the connecting unit connects to an external access point separate from the information processing apparatus and the communication apparatus, and wherein, when the transmitting unit terminates data transmission to the communication apparatus via the second access point, the connecting unit releases connection to the second access point, and when the transmitting unit terminates data transmission to the communication apparatus via the external access point, the connecting unit does not release connection to the external access point. 8 . A computer-readable medium that stores computer executable instructions for causing an information processing apparatus configured to communicate with a communication apparatus to execute a method, the method comprising: connecting to a first access point in the communication apparatus without receiving input of connection information; acquiring connection information for connecting to a second access point in the communication apparatus via the first access point connected to the information processing apparatus; storing the acquired connection information in a memory; and receiving an instruction to transmit data, wherein, when an instruction to transmit data is received in a state where the information processing apparatus is not connected to the second access point, the information processing apparatus and the second access point are connected using the stored connection information, and wherein, when the information processing apparatus is connected to the second access point, the first access point is disabled. 9 . The computer-readable medium according to claim 8 , wherein the method further comprises causing the information processing apparatus to, when an instruction to transmit data is received, transmit the data to the communication apparatus via the second access point connected to the information processing apparatus, wherein, when data transmission ends, connection between the information processing apparatus and the second access point is released. 10 . The computer-readable medium according to claim 8 , wherein the method further comprises causing the information processing apparatus to transmit, when an instruction to transmit data is received, the data to the communication apparatus via the second access point connected to the information processing apparatus and connect to a mobile communication network that communicates with the Internet, wherein, when an instruction to transmit the data is received, connection between the information processing apparatus and the mobile communication network is released, and when data transmission ends, the information processing apparatus connects to the mobile communication network. 11 . The computer-readable medium according to claim 8 , wherein the method further comprises causing the information processing apparatus to enable the second access point. 12 . The computer-readable medium according to claim 11 , wherein the method further comprises causing the information processing apparatus to, when the second access point is enabled, acquire functional information regarding the communication apparatus from the communication apparatus, wherein, when the second access point is enabled, the information processing apparatus and the second access point are connected using the stored connection information, and when the functional information is acquired, connection between the information processing apparatus and the second access point is released. 13 . The computer-readable medium according to claim 8 , wherein the method further comprises causing the information processing apparatus to connect the communication apparatus to an external access point that is separate from the information processing apparatus and the communication apparatus, wherein the information processing apparatus connects to
