Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Provided are a mobile device and an operation method of the mobile device. The operation method controlled by a central processing unit of the mobile device includes, in response to an initialization request with respect to a memory device of the mobile device, setting a first type area of the memory device, which is not initialized as a first value, and processing an operation command with respect to the first type area.

First claim

What is claimed is: 1 . An operation method comprising: in response to an initialization request with respect to a memory device, setting a first type area of the memory device, which is not initialized as a first value; and responding that the initializing request is completed with respect to the first type area without completing the initialization of the first type area, after checking signals or flags for the usage of the memory. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the setting of the first type area comprises setting at least one first type area in at least one of a channel unit, a rank unit, a bank unit, a sub-array unit, and a page unit. 3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising in response to a write command for writing write data having the first value to the first type area, not writing the write data and generating a write complete signal corresponding to the write command, after checking signals or flags for the usage of the memory. 4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising omitting transmission of the write command and the write data to the memory device, after checking signals or flags for the usage of the memory. 5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: in response to a write command for writing write data comprising a second value to the first type area, writing the write data to the first type area; and changing the first type area to a second type area. 6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: in response to a write command for writing write data comprising a second value to the first type area, writing the write data to the first type area; and changing an area of the first type area, to which the write data has been written, to a second type area. 7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: in response to a write command for writing write data comprising a second value to the first type area, initializing the first type area as the first value when a size of the write data is less than a size of the first type area; writing the write data to the first type area; and changing the first type area to a second type area. 8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising in response to a read command with respect to the first type area, not reading the first type area and outputting the first value as a processing result of the read command. 9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising restricting an access right to the first type area; and processing a read command with respect to the first type area and outputting a permission fault in response to the read command. 10 . The operation method of claim 1 , further comprising in response to a refresh command with respect to the first type area, not performing a refresh operation on the first type area. 11 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: in response to a write command for writing write data having the first value to a second type area of the memory device, the second type area comprising a second value, not writing the write data to the second type area and generating a write complete signal corresponding to the write command; and changing the second type area to the first type area. 12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising: activating a refresh command with respect to the memory device; and in response to the refresh command, operating the memory device in a partial array self refresh (PASR) mode, and not performing a refresh operation on the first type area and performing the refresh operation on the second type area. 13 . The operation method of claim 12 , wherein the setting of the first type area comprises setting the first type area in a page unit, and setting a value of a first entry of a look-up table, with respect to each page of the first type area, to a value different from a value of a first entry of the look-up table, with respect to each page in the second type area. 14 . The operation method of claim 1 , wherein the memory device comprises dynamic random access memory (DRAM). 15 . A mobile device comprising: a central processor configured to perform data processing for controlling the mobile device; a memory device configured to store data required for an operation of the central processor; and a zero data processor configured to generate a response for an operation command accompanied by an access to a first type area of the memory device without accessing the memory device and to transmit the generated response to the central processor, wherein the first type area is an area which is not initialized as zero data in response to an initialization request generated from the central processor. 16 . The mobile device of claim 15 , wherein an operation command with respect to the first type area of the memory device is a refresh command with respect to the first type area, and the zero data processor generates a response for the refresh command without accessing the memory device. 17 . The mobile device of claim 15 , wherein the zero data processor sets the first type area in at least one of a channel unit, a rank unit, a bank unit, a sub-array unit, and a page unit. 18 . The mobile device of claim 15 , wherein an operation command with respect to the first type area of the memory device is at least one of a read command, a write command, and a refresh command with respect to the first type area, and the zero data processor generates a response for the at least one of the read command, the write command, and the refresh command without accessing the memory device. 19 . The mobile device of claim 15 , wherein, in response to a write command for writing write data comprising a second value, to the first type area, the zero data processor writes the write data to the first type area, and changes the first type area to a second type area. 20 . A wearable device comprising: a central processor; a memory device wherein all areas of the memory device, except a first type area, are initialized in response to an initialization request received from the central processor; and a zero data processor configured to generate a response for an operation command accompanied by an access to the first type area of the memory device without accessing the memory device and to transmit the generated response to the central processor.
