Embodiments disclosed herein relate to an interactive surgical drape and system including at least one sensor and at least one controller that operates indicating sensing feedback from the at least one sensor to cause display of information on a dynamic display integrated with the interactive surgical drape. The dynamic display assists the surgical team while performing surgery and can operate to improve the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the surgical team.

What is claimed is: 1 . An interactive surgical drape system, comprising: at least one interactive surgical drape; a sensor assembly operably coupled to the interactive surgical drape, the sensor assembly configured to generate at least one sensed signal indicating detection of at least one property of the disposition or condition of the interactive surgical drape; electronic circuitry including a processor, operably coupled to the sensor assembly and configured to receive the at least one sensed signal, and a dynamic display device operably coupled to the electronic circuitry and configured to generate at least one communication signal based on instruction by the electronic circuitry. 2 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , further including a controller configured to direct the dynamic display associated with the interactive surgical drape based on at least one sensed signal from the sensor assembly. 3 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 2 , wherein the controller further generates at least one communication signal on a dynamic display device associated with the interactive surgical drape, based on the at least one sensed signal. 4 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one property of the disposition or condition of the interactive surgical drape is a property relative to the location of at least one dynamic display device or projector. 5 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to access and provide information to be displayed by the dynamic display device or projector associated with the interactive surgical drape. 6 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the dynamic display device includes at least one of a LED, touchscreen, LCD, OLED, PLED, projector, or projection display. 7 .- 9 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the sensor assembly is operably coupled to the electronic circuitry via a wireless connection. 25 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the sensor assembly is operably coupled to the electronic circuitry via a physical electrical connection. 26 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one property of the disposition or condition of the interactive surgical drape includes at least one of movement of the interactive surgical drape, an x, y, or z coordinate of at least one dynamic display within the interactive surgical drape, an x, y, or z coordinate of at least a portion of the surgical drape, an x, y, or z coordinate of at least one sensor operably coupled thereto, size of a planar surface of the interactive surgical drape, position or orientation of the interactive surgical drape, three-dimensional shape of the interactive surgical drape, or folding of the interactive surgical drape. 27 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the system includes memory configured to store sensed data corresponding to the at least one sensed signal and data corresponding to display of information on the dynamic display of the interactive surgical drape. 28 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the electronic circuitry of the system is configured to direct the dynamic display associated with the interactive surgical drape based on at least one sensed signal from the sensor assembly being below or above a threshold level. 29 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the sensed signal is indicative of at least one parameter or change thereof for the disposition or condition of the interactive surgical drape. 31 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the system includes a user interface through which the dynamic display is programmable and controls at least one of the type or amount of information displayed on the dynamic display. 32 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein at least one sensor of the sensor assembly is programmable. 33 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the electronic circuitry further includes a comparison module configured to compare the at least one sensed signal indicating the detection of at least one parameter or change thereof for the disposition or condition of the interactive surgical drape to a database of reference data representing at least one threshold value. 34 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the dynamic display is configured to provide at least one of an auditory alert, a visual alert, or a tactile alert based on the at least one sensed signal indicative of detection of at least one parameter of the disposition of the interactive surgical drape. 35 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the dynamic display is configured to provide at least one of an auditory alert, a visual alert, or a tactile alert based on the at least one parameter of the disposition of the interactive surgical drape detected by the sensor assembly. 36 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the electronic circuitry is configured to communicate with an external computing device. 37 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 36 , wherein the external computing device includes at least one of a personal computer, a tablet, a mobile device, a smart TV, a multimedia player, or a game console. 38 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the electronic circuitry is configured to communicate with an external network or database. 39 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 38 , wherein the external network or database includes at least one of a hospital network, insurance network, social media, or medical records database. 40 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the electronic circuitry is configured to determine a first set of data to display based on the at least one property of the disposition or condition of the interactive surgical drape detected by the sensor assembly. 41 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 40 , wherein the electronic circuitry is configured to compare a first set of data with a second set of data to display based on the at least one property of the disposition or condition of the interactive surgical drape detected by the sensor assembly. 42 . The interactive surgical drape system of claim 1 , wherein the system includes a user interface through which the dynamic display can be programmed with at least one operational program that controls at least one of the type or amount of information displayed on the dynamic display. 43 .
