An image display apparatus according to the present invention includes: a display unit configured to display an image on a screen; a calculation unit configured to calculate, based on input image data, an amount of light of a predetermined color emitted from the screen in a case where an image based on the input image data is displayed on the screen; and a notification unit configured to perform predetermined notification, based on the amount of light calculated by the calculation unit.

What is claimed is: 1 . An image display apparatus comprising: a display unit configured to display an image on a screen; a calculation unit configured to calculate, based on input image data, an amount of light of a predetermined color emitted from the screen in a case where an image based on the input image data is displayed on the screen; and a notification unit configured to perform predetermined notification, based on the amount of light calculated by the calculation unit. 2 . The image display apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the predetermined color is blue. 3 . The image display apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the light of the predetermined color is light with a wavelength which is not less than 380 nm and not more than 495 nm. 4 . The image display apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a generation unit configured to generate processed image data by performing predetermined image processing on the input image data, wherein the image based on the input image data is an image corresponding to the processed image data, and the calculation unit calculates the amount of light, based on the processed image data. 5 . The image display apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the calculation unit calculates the amount of light, based on: the input image data; a hazard function that represents a corresponding relation between the wavelength of light and a degree of an effect of light on a human body; a size of the screen; and a plurality of spectral data corresponding respectively to a plurality of colors including the predetermined color, and each of the plurality of spectral data represents a spectral characteristic of the light emitted from the screen in a case where image data of the color corresponding to the spectral data is displayed on the screen. 6 . The image display apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein the display unit changes at least one of the color and brightness of the screen using a set parameter, the calculation unit calculates the amount of light, based on the input image data, the hazard function, the size of the screen, the plurality of spectral data, a current set value of the parameter, and a reference value of the parameter, and each of the plurality of spectral data represents the spectral characteristic of the light emitted from the screen in a case where the image data of the color corresponding to the spectral data is displayed on the screen using the reference value of the parameter. 7 . The image display apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein the display unit changes at least one of the color and brightness of the screen using the set parameter, and each of the plurality of spectral data represents the spectral characteristic of the light emitted from the screen in a case where the image data of the color corresponding to the spectral data is displayed on the screen using the current set value of the parameter. 8 . The image display apparatus according to claim 5 , further comprising an acquisition unit configured to acquire, for each of the plurality of colors, spectral data representing a current spectral characteristic of light emitted from the screen in a case where the image data of the color is displayed on the screen, and the calculation unit calculates the amount of light using a plurality of the spectral data acquired by the acquisition unit. 9 . The image display apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising an accumulation unit configured to calculate a current total amount of the light of the predetermined color emitted from the screen by accumulating amounts of light calculated by the calculation unit during a display period for the image based on the input image data, and the notification unit performs a first notification in a case where the total amount of light calculated by the accumulation unit reaches a first threshold amount of light. 10 . The image display apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the first notification is a process of displaying, on the screen, predetermined information indicating at least that the total amount of light has reached the first threshold amount of light. 11 . The image display apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the accumulation unit gradually reduces a value of the total amount of light during a non-display period for the image based on the input image data. 12 . The image display apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the accumulation unit resets a value of the total amount of light to zero in a case where the image based on the input image data is not displayed from end of the display period for the image based on the input image data until a threshold time elapses. 13 . The image display apparatus according to claim 9 , further comprising an identification unit configured to identify a current user of the image display apparatus, wherein the accumulation unit individually calculates the total amount of light for each of a plurality of users of the image display apparatus, and the notification unit, performs the first notification in a case where the total amount of light for at least one user reaches the first threshold amount of light. 14 . The image display apparatus according to claim 13 , wherein the first notification is a process of displaying, on the screen, predetermined information indicating at least the user for whom the total amount of light having reached the first threshold amount of light. 15 . The image display apparatus according to claim 9 , further comprising a reduction unit configured to reduce the amount of light in a case where the total amount of light calculated by the accumulation unit reaches the first threshold amount of light. 16 . The image display apparatus according to claim 15 , wherein the notification unit performs the second notification in a case where the amount of light has been reduced by the reduction unit. 17 . The image display apparatus according to claim 15 , further comprising a selection unit configured to allow the user to selectively determine whether or not to reduce the amount of light in a case where the total amount of light calculated by the accumulation unit reaches the first threshold amount of light, and the reduction unit reduces the amount of light in a case where the user selectively determines to reduce the amount of light. 18 . The image display apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the notification unit performs the second notification in a case where the amount of light calculated by the calculation unit is not less than a second threshold amount of light. 19 . A method for controlling an image display apparatus, comprising: displaying an image on a screen; calculating, based on input image data, an amount of light of a predetermined color emitted from the screen in a case where an image based on the input image data is displayed on the screen; and performing predetermined notification, based on the calculated amount of light. 20 . A non-transitory computer readable medium that stores a program, wherein the program causes a computer to execute displaying an image on a screen; calculating, based on input image data, an amount of light of a predetermined color emitted from the screen in a case where an image based on the input image data is displayed on the screen; and performing predetermined notification, based on the calculated amount of light.
