1 - 132 . (canceled) 133 . A method for providing fantasy sports contest info, the method comprising: receiving, using input circuitry, a data stream comprising information about a real-life event corresponding to a real-life sports contest of a media asset; retrieving, from a database, a user profile including information about a fantasy sports contest for which the user participates; comparing data from the user profile to information about the real-life event to determine whether the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates; and in response to determining that the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates, generating for display, on a display device, information indicating to the user that the media asset is related to the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates. 134 . The method of claim 133 , wherein the user profile includes information about a plurality of real-life sports players on the user's fantasy sports roster, further comprising: determining a number of real-life sports players included in the media asset that are also included in the user's fantasy sports roster; and scheduling the media for automatic recording based on a determination that the number is greater than a threshold minimum number of real-life sports players. 135 . The method of claim 133 , wherein the event corresponds to an accumulation of a statistic by a real-life sports player, further comprising determining that the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates when the statistic changes a standing of the user in the fantasy sports contest. 136 . The method of claim 135 , wherein the user profile includes information about a plurality of real-life sports players on the user's fantasy sports roster, and wherein comparing data from the user profile to information about the real-life event to determine whether the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates further comprises: determining the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest when the real-life sports player matches a real-life sports player of the plurality of real-life sports players on the user's fantasy sports roster. 137 . The method of claim 133 , further comprising generating for display a video corresponding to the real-life event in response to determining that the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates. 138 . The method of claim 133 , further comprising: generating for display, in response to determining that the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates, an overlay including fantasy sports information associated with the event. 139 . The method of claim 138 , wherein generating for display the overlay including fantasy sports information associated with the event, further comprises: computing a number of points in the fantasy sports contest associated with the event; and generating for display the overlay including the number of points. 140 . The method of claim 133 , further comprising: retrieving, from the user profile, a recording priority associated with the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates; and determining whether to schedule the media asset for recording based on the recording priority. 141 . The method of claim 133 , wherein the user profile includes information about a plurality of real-life sports players on the user's fantasy sports roster, further comprising: identifying a plurality of real-life sports players included in the media asset that are also included in the user's fantasy sports team roster; and generating for display information indicating to the user that the plurality of real-life sports players are included in both roster and the media asset. 142 . The method of claim 133 , wherein determining whether the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest comprises: determining, based on the data stream, a first sport to which the media asset is directed; determining, based on the user profile, a second sport to which the fantasy sports contest is directed; and determining that the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest when the first sport matches the second sport. 143 . A system comprising control circuitry configured to providing fantasy sports contest info, wherein the control circuitry is configured to: receive, using input circuitry, a data stream comprising information about a real-life event corresponding to a real-life sports contest of a media asset; retrieve, from a database, a user profile including information about a fantasy sports contest for which the user participates; compare data from the user profile to information about the real-life event to determine whether the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates; and in response to determining that the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates, generate for display, on a display device, information indicating to the user that the media asset is related to the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates. 144 . The system of claim 143 , wherein the user profile includes information about a plurality of real-life sports players on the user's fantasy sports roster, and wherein the control circuitry is further configured to: determine a number of real-life sports players included in the media asset that are also included in the user's fantasy sports roster; and schedule the media for automatic recording based on a determination that the number is greater than a threshold minimum number of real-life sports players. 145 . The system of claim 143 , wherein the event corresponds to an accumulation of a statistic by a real-life sports player, and wherein the control circuitry is further configured to determine that the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates when the statistic changes a standing of the user in the fantasy sports contest. 146 . The system of claim 145 , wherein the user profile includes information about a plurality of real-life sports players on the user's fantasy sports roster, and wherein the control circuitry is further configured, when comparing data from the user profile to information about the real-life event to determine whether the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates, to: determine the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest when the real-life sports player matches a real-life sports player of the plurality of real-life sports players on the user's fantasy sports roster. 147 . The system of claim 143 , wherein the control circuitry is further configured to generate for display a video corresponding to the real-life event in response to determining that the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates. 148 . The system of claim 143 , wherein the control circuitry is further configured to: generate for display, in response to determining that the real-life event affects the fantasy sports contest for which the user participates, an overlay including fantasy sports information associated with the event. 149 . The system of claim 148 , wherein the control circuitry is further configured, when generating for display the overlay including fantasy sports information associated with the event, to: compute a number of points in the fantas
