An electrolyte solution including a solvent and an electrolyte salt. The solvent contains a compound (A) represented by the formula (A) in an amount of 0.001 to 10 ppm in the electrolyte solution: wherein R 1 and R 2 may be the same as or different from each other, and individually represent a C1-C7 alkyl group.
