Official abstract text for this publication.
An voice command processing method provides a unified voice control interface to access and control Internet of things (IoT) devices and configure value of attributes of graphical user interface (GUI) elements, attributes of applications, and attributes of the IoT devices. As a voice command comprises an expression of a percentage or a fraction of a baseline value of an attribute, or an exact value of the attribute of an IoT device, the unified voice control interface sets the attribute of the IoT device in response to the percentage, the fraction, or the exact value in the voice command.

What is claimed is: 1 . A voice command processing method executable by an electronic device, comprising: allowing one or more of a plurality of audio related attributes of an audio function to be user configurable, wherein the audio related attributes comprises audio output speed and volume of the audio function; receiving signals representative of a first digit and a second digit through a voice receiving function; generating a target speed value of the audio output speed from the first digit and the second digit and setting the audio output speed based on the target speed value in a condition that the first digit and the second digit are expressed as a fraction or a percentage of a baseline speed value of the audio output speed; and generating a target volume value of the volume of the audio function from the first digit and the second digit and setting the volume of the audio function based on the target volume value in a condition that the first digit and the second digit are expressed as a fraction or a percentage of a baseline volume value of the volume of the audio function. 2 . The voice command processing method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the baseline speed value comprises a maximum of the audio output speed. 3 . The voice command processing method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the baseline speed value comprises a current value of the audio output speed. 4 . The voice command processing method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the baseline volume value comprises a maximum of the volume of the audio function. 5 . The voice command processing method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the baseline volume value comprises a current value of the volume of the audio function. 6 . The voice command processing method as claimed in claim 1 , further comprises: generating a target progress value of a progress associated with the audio function from the first digit and the second digit and setting the progress based on the target progress value in a condition that the first digit and the second digit are expressed as a fraction or a percentage of a baseline progress value of the progress associated with the audio function. 7 . The voice command processing method as claimed in claim 6 , wherein the baseline progress value comprises a maximum of the progress associated with the audio function. 8 . The voice command processing method as claimed in claim 6 , wherein the baseline progress value comprises a current value of the progress associated with the audio function. 9 . The voice command processing method as claimed in claim 6 further comprising: receiving the signals representative of the first digit and initiating a timer operable to count a predetermined period of time; generating a first time value corresponding to a first position in an audio data based on the received first digit; locating the first position in the audio data; determining whether the signals representative of the second digit is received before the timer expires; performing a first playback operation on the audio data based on the first position in response to expiration of the timer if the timer expires without reception of the signals representative of the second digit; and generating a second time value corresponding to a second position in the audio data based on the received first and second digits in substitution for the first time value, resetting the timer, and locating the second position if the signals representative of the second digit is received before the timer expires; and performing a second playback operation on the audio data based on the second position in response to expiration of the timer after reception of the second digit. 10 . A voice command processing method executable by an electronic device, comprising: allowing one or more of a plurality of audio related attributes of an audio function to be user configurable, wherein the audio related attributes comprises audio output speed and volume of the audio function; receiving voice signals through a voice receiving function, wherein the voice signals are representative of a target device, a target attribute of the target device, a baseline value of the target attribute, an mathematical expression including a first digit and a second digit; generating a target value of the target attribute utilizing the first digit, the second digit, and the baseline value of the attribute; setting the target attribute based on the target value; and allowing an autonomous car to perform an adjustment to the audio function in response to the target value. 11 . An electronic device, comprising: audio function unit operable to allow one or more of a plurality of audio related attributes of an audio function to be user configurable, wherein the audio related attributes comprises audio output speed and volume of the audio function; and a voice command processing unit operable to receive voice signals through a voice receiving function, wherein the voice signals are representative of a target device, a target attribute of the target device, a baseline value of the target attribute, an mathematical expression including a first digit and a second digit, and the voice command processing unit generates a target value of the target attribute utilizing the first digit, the second digit, and the baseline value of the attribute, and sets the target attribute based on the target value; and wherein the audio function unit performs an adjustment to the audio function in response to the target value.
