An object of the present invention is to provide a carbon material for negative electrodes of non-aqueous secondary batteries having a high capacity, a high output, excellent cycle characteristics and a low irreversible capacity. The present invention relates to a carbon material for negative electrodes of non-aqueous secondary batteries, the carbon material comprising: (1) a composite carbon particles (A) containing elemental silicon, and (2) amorphous composite graphite particles (B) in which graphite particles (C) and amorphous carbon are composited.

A carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery, the carbon material comprising: (1) composite carbon particles (A) containing elemental silicon, and (2) amorphous composite graphite particles (B) in which graphite particles (C) and amorphous carbon are composited. 11 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 10 , the carbon material further comprising natural graphite particles (D). 12 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 10 , wherein the graphite particles (C) are spheroidized natural graphite. 13 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 11 , wherein the graphite particles (C) are spheroidized natural graphite. 14 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 10 , wherein a Raman R value of the graphite particles (B) is 0.2 or greater but 0.6 or less, when the Raman R value is defined as an intensity ratio, I B /I A , of an intensity I B of a maximum peak P B around 1360 cm −1 to an intensity I A of a maximum peak P A around 1580 cm −1 in a Raman spectrum. 15 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 11 , wherein a Raman R value of the graphite particles (B) is 0.2 or greater but 0.6 or less, when the Raman R value is defined as an intensity ratio, I B /I A , of an intensity I B of a maximum peak P B around 1360 cm −1 to an intensity I A of a maximum peak P A around 1580 cm −1 in a Raman spectrum. 16 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 12 , wherein a Raman R value of the graphite particles (B) is 0.2 or greater but 0.6 or less, when the Raman R value is defined as an intensity ratio, I B /I A , of an intensity I B of a maximum peak P B around 1360 cm −1 to an intensity I A of a maximum peak P A around 1580 cm −1 in a Raman spectrum. 17 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 13 , wherein a Raman R value of the graphite particles (B) is 0.2 or greater but 0.6 or less, when the Raman R value is defined as an intensity ratio, I B /I A , of an intensity I B of a maximum peak P B around 1360 cm −1 to an intensity I A of a maximum peak P A around 1580 cm −1 in a Raman spectrum. 18 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 10 , wherein the composite carbon particles (A) are the composite carbon particles containing at least one type of Si compound selected from the group consisting of Si and SiOx (0<x<2). 19 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 11 , wherein the composite carbon particles (A) are the composite carbon particles containing at least one type of Si compound selected from the group consisting of Si and SiOx (0<x<2). 20 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 12 , wherein the composite carbon particles (A) are the composite carbon particles containing at least one type of Si compound selected from the group consisting of Si and SiOx (0<x<2). 21 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 13 , wherein the composite carbon particles (A) are the composite carbon particles containing at least one type of Si compound selected from the group consisting of Si and SiOx (0<x<2). 22 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 14 , wherein the composite carbon particles (A) are the composite carbon particles containing at least one type of Si compound selected from the group consisting of Si and SiOx (0<x<2). 23 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 15 , wherein the composite carbon particles (A) are the composite carbon particles containing at least one type of Si compound selected from the group consisting of Si and SiOx (0<x<2). 24 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 16 , wherein the composite carbon particles (A) are the composite carbon particles containing at least one type of Si compound selected from the group consisting of Si and SiOx (0<x<2). 25 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 17 , wherein the composite carbon particles (A) are the composite carbon particles containing at least one type of Si compound selected from the group consisting of Si and SiOx (0<x<2). 26 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 18 , wherein the composite carbon particles (A) have a structure that flake graphite is folded and particles of the Si compound are present within a void of the folded structure. 27 . The carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 10 , wherein a mass proportion of the amorphous composite graphite particles (B) in the carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery is 10% by mass or greater but 70% by mass or less. 28 . A negative electrode for a non-aqueous secondary battery comprising a current collector and an active material layer formed on the current collector, wherein the active material layer contains the carbon material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 10 . 29 . A non-aqueous secondary battery comprising a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and an electrolyte, wherein the negative electrode is the negative electrode for a non-aqueous secondary battery according to claim 28 .
