What is claimed is: 1 . A machine for washing or drying laundry, comprising: a stationary part; a tub; a drum rotatably accommodated in the tub; a drive motor comprising: a stator or housing component connected to the machine; a rotor having a rotor shaft connected with the drum; and bearings arranged in the stator and or housing component and the rotor shaft is exclusively rotatably mounted by the bearings; and one or more spring or damping elements connects the stator or housing component to the stationary part. 2 . The machine according to claim 1 , further comprising a bellows connecting the stator or housing component with the stationary part of the washing machine. 3 . The machine according to claim 2 , wherein the tub is accommodated in a stationary part. 4 . The machine according to claim 2 wherein the spring or damper comprises a spring-damper system and the stator or a housing component is connected with the stationary part via the spring-damper system, and with the tub via the bellows. 5 . The machine according to claim 1 wherein the stator has coils that can be fed with current, and the rotor has permanent magnets. 6 . The machine according to claim 5 , wherein the stator comprises a stator ring that supports the coils, and the stator ring is arranged on the housing component. 7 . The machine according to claim 6 , wherein the stator ring is manufactured from a thermally and/or electrically resistive material in an injection-molding process. 8 . The machine according to claim 1 , wherein the bearing is respectively accommodated in the stator and in the housing component. 9 . The machine according to claim 8 , and further comprising a hub, accommodating the bearing, and integrated into the stator or into the housing component and into an additional housing component. 10 . The machine according to claim 9 , wherein the stator or the housing component accommodating the stator and the additional housing component are respectively designed in a pot shape and are connected with one another in the region of their end walls. 11 . The machine according to claim 10 , wherein the stator is arranged in confronting relationship to the drum.
