What is claimed is: 1 . An optical connector, comprising: a board including an element that performs conversion between an electric signal and light; a first ferrule and a second ferrule that are butted against each other; an optical waveguide that optically connects the first ferrule with the element; and a guide that guides the optical waveguide disposed between the first ferrule and the element. 2 . The optical connector as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the guide includes a guide groove in which the optical waveguide is placed. 3 . The optical connector as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the guide includes a guide hole into which the optical waveguide is inserted. 4 . The optical connector as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the guide further includes a boot that protects the optical waveguide, the boot being formed as an integral part of the guide. 5 . The optical connector as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the guide includes a positioning pin for aligning the first ferrule with the second ferrule. 6 . The optical connector as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising: a housing that houses the board, wherein the guide and the housing are formed as a monolithic part.
