A bearing assembly includes a roller bearing connected with a bearing support having a plate-shaped section. The bearing support has a receiving bore for an outer ring of the roller bearing, and the outer ring of the roller bearing is affixed to the bearing support with two affixing plates that are fixed to first and second end sides of the bearing support and that clamp the outer ring at two clamping surfaces. An axial spacing of the first and second end sides of the bearing support is smaller than an axial spacing of the clamping surfaces of the outer ring, and the two affixing plates have a different mechanical strength.

1 . A bearing assembly, comprising at least one roller bearing connected with at least one bearing support that includes a plate-shaped section, wherein the bearing support has a receiving bore for an outer ring of the roller bearing, wherein the outer ring of the roller bearing is affixed to the bearing support with two affixing plates that are fixed to first and second end sides of the bearing support, wherein the two affixing plates clamp the outer ring at two clamping surfaces, wherein a spacing (X), measured in an axial direction (a), of the first and second end sides of the bearing support is smaller than a spacing (Y), measured in the axial direction (a), of the clamping surfaces of the outer ring, and wherein, the two affixing plates have a different mechanical strength. 2 . The bearing assembly according to claim 1 , wherein a ratio of the spacing (X) of the first and second end sides of the bearing support to the spacing (Y) of the clamping surfaces of the outer ring is from 0.975 and to 0.995. 3 . The bearing assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the two affixing plates are affixed to the bearing support by bolts. 4 . The bearing assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the two affixing plates have a different thickness (d 1 , d 2 ) measured in the axial direction (a). 5 . The bearing assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the two affixing plates have different sizes observed from the axial direction (a). 6 . The bearing assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the two affixing plates are composed of different materials. 7 . The bearing assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the two affixing plates are each composed of a plurality of plate elements stacked on each other, and wherein the two affixing plates have a different number of plate elements. 8 . The bearing assembly according to one of claims 1 to 7 , claim 1 , wherein one of the two affixing plates is captively connected with the outer ring of the roller bearing and disposed in a groove in an end-side area of the outer ring. 9 . The bearing assembly according to claim 8 , wherein the captively connected affixing plate is the affixing plate having a greater mechanical strength. 10 . The bearing assembly according to claim 3 , wherein the bolts have bolt heads and the bolt heads are disposed on the affixing plate having a lower mechanical strength. 11 . The bearing assembly according to claim 1 , 6 p 1 wherein a ratio of the spacing (X) of the first and second end sides of the bearing support to the spacing (Y) of the clamping surfaces of the outer ring is from 0.975 to 0.995, and wherein the two affixing plates are affixed to the bearing support by bolts, and wherein the two affixing plates have a different thickness (d 1 , d 2 ) measured in the axial direction (a), and wherein the two affixing plates are formed of different materials, and wherein a first one of the two affixing plates is captively connected with the outer ring of the roller bearing and disposed in a groove in an end-side area of the outer ring, and wherein the first one of the two affixing plate has a greater mechanical strength than a second one of the two affixing plates, and wherein the bolts have bolt heads and the bolt heads are disposed on the second one of the two affixing plates. 12 . The bearing assembly according to claim 11 , wherein the first one of the two affixing plates comprises a first number of stacked plate elements and the second one of the two affixing plates comprises a second number of stacked plate elements different than the first number. 13 . A bearing assembly comprising: a bearing support including a plate-shaped section and a receiving bore; and a roller bearing having an outer ring connected at the plate-shaped section of the bearing support by a first affixing plate at a first side of the bearing support and a second affixing plate at a second side of the bearing support, the first and second affixing plates clamping the outer ring at first and second clamping surfaces of the bearing outer ring, wherein an axial width of the plate-shaped section of the bearing support is less than an axial separation of the first and second clamping surfaces of the outer ring, and wherein the first affixing plate is more easily deformable than the second affixing plate. 14 . The bearing assembly according to claim 13 , wherein a ratio of the axial width of the plate-shaped section to the axial separation of the first and second clamping surfaces is from 0.975 to 0.995. 15 . The bearing assembly according to claim 13 , wherein the first affixing plate has a greater axial width than the second affixing plate. 16 . The bearing assembly according to claim 13 , wherein the first affixing plate is formed from a first material and the second affixing plate is formed from a second material different than the first material. 17 . The bearing assembly according to claim 14 , wherein the first affixing plate is connected to the second affixing plate by a threaded fastener having a head, and wherein the head is in contact with the first affixing plate. 18 . A bearing assembly comprising: a bearing support including a plate-shaped section and a receiving bore; a roller bearing having an outer ring having first and second clamping surfaces; and affixing means for affixing the bearing at the plate-shaped section of the bearing support, wherein an axial width of the plate-shaped section of the bearing support is less than an axial separation of the first and second clamping surfaces of the outer ring.
