A method of facilitating autonomous computing within a cloud service includes generating a cloud service based on a lifecycle management topology, in which the cloud service is an autonomous management service, a self-management service, or combinations thereof. The method also includes establishing a number of management processes to be performed within the cloud service, in which the number of management processes comprise autonomous management processes, self-management processes, or combinations thereof. The cloud service includes an instantiation of the topology and a number of applications executable on the instantiation of the topology.

What is claimed is: 1 . A method of facilitating autonomous computing within a cloud service, comprising: generating a cloud service based on a lifecycle management topology, in which the cloud service is an autonomous management service, a self-management service, or combinations thereof; and establishing a number of management processes to be performed within the cloud service, in which the number of management processes comprise autonomous management processes, self-management processes, or combinations thereof; in which the cloud service comprises an instantiation of the topology and a number of applications executable on the instantiation of the topology. 2 . The method of claim 1 , in which an autonomous management service performs an operation based on a policy within a topology. 3 . The method of claim 2 , in which an autonomous management process comprises autonomous provisioning, autonomous remediation, or combinations thereof. 4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising developing an application using a programming model to, include code within the application, define policies within the application, or combinations thereof. 5 . The method of claim 4 , further comprising executing a policy via a platform, to ensure that the application behaves autonomously. 6 . The method of claim 4 , further comprising including code within an application to establish monitoring, event handling, incident processing and self-remediation via a platform that exposes an application programming interface (API). 7 . The method of claim 1 , in which a self-management process comprises self-provision, self-configuration, self-monitoring, self-handling, self-remediation, self-updating, or combinations thereof. 8 . The method of claim 7 , in which self-configuration comprises executing provisioning policies, capabilities policies, requirements policies, or combinations thereof to configure the service. 9 . The method of claim 1 , in which an applications package is used to determine whether a service is a self-management service, an autonomous management service, or combinations thereof. 10 . A system for facilitating autonomous computing within a cloud service, comprising: a platform to support autonomous computing within a cloud service, the platform comprising: a broker to generate a cloud service, in which the cloud service is an autonomous management service, a self-management service, or combinations thereof; and a management module to establish a number of management processes to be performed within the cloud service, in which the number of management processes comprise autonomous management processes, self-management processes, or combinations thereof. 11 . The system of claim 10 , in which the broker generates a service by processing an applications package. 12 . The system of claim 11 , in which the applications package comprises a topology, a number of policies associated with the topology, and executables to perform a number of functions. 13 . The system of claim 10 , in which the self-management service comprise code to perform a self-management process. 14 . The system of claim 10 , in which the autonomous management applications comprise logic to, call an application programming interface (API) to execute a management process. 15 . A computer program product for facilitating autonomous computing within a cloud service, the computer program product comprising: a computer readable storage medium comprising computer usable program code embodied therewith, the computer usable program code comprising: computer usable program code to, when executed by a processor, generate a cloud service based on a lifecycle management topology, in which the cloud service is an autonomous management service, a self-management service, or combinations thereof; and computer usable program code to, when executed by a processor, establish a number of management processes to be performed within the cloud service, in which the number of management processes autonomous management processes, self-management processes, or combinations thereof.
