What is claimed is: 1 . A conduit for an offshore cable assembly, comprising: a conduit body, said conduit having at least one longitudinal strength member embedded therein, said at least one longitudinal strength member extending the length of said conduit body; and a plurality of cables, hoses, or a combination thereof received inside of said conduit body. 2 . A conduit according to claim 1 , wherein said at least one longitudinal strength member is formed of aramid. 3 . A conduit according to claim 1 , further comprising a second longitudinal strength member embedded in said conduit body. 4 . A conduit according to claim 3 , wherein said second longitudinal strength member is disposed opposite said at least one longitudinal strength member in said conduit body. 5 . A conduit according to claim 1 , further comprising a retaining wrap that surrounds said plurality of cables, hoses, or a combination thereof. 6 . A conduit according to claim 5 , wherein said retaining wrap is a conductive shield. 7 . A conduit according to claim 5 , wherein a bonding section is disposed between said retaining wrap and said inner surface of said conduit body. 8 . A conduit according to claim 1 , further comprising a bonding section disposed between said plurality of cables, hoses, or a combination thereof and an inner surface of said conduit body. 9 . A conduit according to claim 1 , wherein said conduit body has an alignment indicia on an outer surface thereof. 10 . A conduit according to claim 9 , wherein said alignment indicia is one or more longitudinal lines. 11 . A conduit according to claim 1 , wherein said plurality of cables, hoses, or a combination thereof includes a plurality of power cables and at least one ground conductor. 12 . A conduit according to claim 1 , wherein said plurality of cables, hoses, or a combination thereof includes at least one of a fiber optic or coaxial electrical cable. 13 . A conduit according to claim 1 , wherein said bonding section is an elongated adhesive section. 14 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly, for an offshore cable assembly, comprising: a conduit configured for offshore use and supporting at least one of a cable or hose, said conduit having a conduit body and an end, said conduit body including at least one longitudinal strength member embedded therein, said at least one longitudinal strength member extending substantially the length of said conduit body; and an end fitting configured to terminate said end of said conduit, said end fitting having a mounting flange and an insert extension extending therefrom with a transition shoulder between said mounting flange and said insert extension, said end fitting having a cover member covering said insert extension, wherein said conduit body being sandwiched between said insert extension and said cover member, thereby coupling said conduit and end fitting. 15 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 14 , further comprising a secondary retention member disposed on said conduit that couples said conduit and said end fitting. 16 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 15 , wherein said retention member is a KELLEM grip disposed on an outer surface of said conduit body. 17 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 14 , wherein said mounting flange has opposite sides that are substantially flat and opposite sides that are substantially curved and extending between said substantially flat sides. 18 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 14 , wherein said at least one longitudinal strength member is formed of aramid. 19 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 14 , further comprising a second longitudinal strength member embedded in said conduit body. 20 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 19 , wherein said second longitudinal strength member is disposed opposite said at least one longitudinal strength member in said conduit body. 21 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 14 , further comprising a retaining wrap surrounding said at least one of a cable or hose. 22 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 21 , further comprising an elongated bonding section disposed between said retaining wrap and an inner surface of said conduit body. 23 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 14 , wherein said conduit body having an alignment indicia on an outer surface thereof. 24 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 23 , wherein said alignment indicia is one or more longitudinal lines. 25 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 14 , wherein said at least one of a cable or hose includes a power cable. 26 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 14 , wherein said at least one of a cable or hose includes a fiber optic or coaxial electrical cable. 27 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 14 , further comprising a strain relief member for said conduit extending from said mounting flange opposite said insert extension. 28 . A conduit and end fitting subassembly according to claim 14 , wherein said conduit is substantially water proof. 29 . An offshore cable assembly, comprising: a plurality of conduits, each conduit supporting a plurality of cables, hoses, or combination thereof, each said conduit including a conduit body having an end and at least one longitudinal strength member embedded therein, said at least one longitudinal strength member extending substantially the length of said conduit body; a plurality of end fittings configured to terminate said ends of each of said conduits, each of said end fittings having a mounting flange and an insert extension extending therefrom, and each of said insert extensions extending into each of said conduit bodies, respectively; and a clamp securing together said plurality of conduits, said clamp including a plurality of first curved pieces and a plurality of second curved pieces corresponding to said first curved pieces and adapted to be fastened thereto such that each conduit body is captured between one of said first curved pieces and one of said second curved pieces. 30 . An offshore cable assembly according to claim 29 , wherein each of said mounting flanges includes opposite sides that are substantially flat and opposite sides that are substantially curved and extending between said substantially flat sides, at least one of said substantially flat sides of one end fitting abuts at least one of said substantially flat sides of another end fitting. 31 .
