What is claimed is: 1 . A combustor wall for a turbine engine, the combustor wall comprising: a combustor shell extending axially along a centerline; and a combustor heat shield extending axially along the centerline, the heat shield connected to the shell by a bonded connection; wherein a cooling cavity is defined radially between the shell and the heat shield. 2 . The combustor wall of claim 1 , wherein the bonded connection comprises one of a transient liquid phase bonded connection and a partial transient liquid phase bonded connection. 3 . The combustor wall of claim 1 , wherein the bonded connection comprises a brazed connection. 4 . The combustor wall of claim 1 , wherein the bonded connection comprises a welded connection. 5 . The combustor wall of claim 1 , wherein the bonded connection bonds the heat shield to the shell. 6 . The combustor wall of claim 1 , further comprising an intermediate element connected radially between the heat shield and the shell, wherein one of the bonded connection bonds the heat shield to the intermediate element; and the bonded connection bonds the intermediate element to the shell. 7 . The combustor wall of claim 6 , wherein one of the heat shield is bonded to the intermediate element by a second bonded connection where the bonded connection bonds the intermediate element to the shell; and the intermediate element is bonded to the shell by a second bonded connection where the bonded connection bonds heat shield to the intermediate element. 8 . The combustor wall of claim 6 , wherein the intermediate element comprises a strain isolator. 9 . The combustor wall of claim 1 , wherein the shell is formed from a first material; and the heat shield is formed from a second material that is different than the first material. 10 . The combustor wall of claim 9 , wherein the first material comprises metallic material; and the second material comprises composite material. 11 . The combustor wall of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the shell includes one or more cooling apertures that are fluidly coupled with the cooling cavity; and the heat shield includes one or more cooling apertures that are fluidly coupled with the cooling cavity. 12 . The combustor wall of claim 1 , wherein the heat shield includes a base plate and a protrusion; and the protrusion extends radially out from the base plate, and is connected to the shell by the bonded connection. 13 . The combustor wall of claim 12 , wherein the protrusion comprises a rail. 14 . A combustor section for a turbine engine, comprising: a combustor including a shell, a heat shield and a combustion chamber; the heat shield connected to the shell by a bonded connection, and defining a portion of the combustion chamber; wherein a cooling cavity is defined between the shell and the heat shield. 15 . The combustor section of claim 14 , wherein the bonded connection comprises one of a transient liquid phase bonded connection and partial transient liquid phase bonded connection. 16 . The combustor section of claim 14 , wherein the bonded connection bonds the heat shield to the shell. 17 . The combustor section of claim 14 , further comprising an intermediate element connected between the heat shield and the shell, wherein one of the bonded connection bonds heat shield to the intermediate element; and the bonded connection bonds the intermediate element to the shell. 18 . The combustor section of claim 17 , wherein one of the heat shield is bonded to the intermediate element by a second bonded connection where the bonded connection bonds the intermediate element to the shell; and the intermediate element is bonded to the shell by a second bonded connection where the bonded connection bonds heat shield to the intermediate element. 19 . The combustor section of claim 14 , wherein the shell is formed from a first material; and the heat shield is formed from a second material that is different than the first material. 20 . The combustor section of claim 14 , further comprising: a combustor first wall; a combustor second wall formed by the shell and the heat shield; and a combustor bulkhead connected radially between the first wall and the second wall; wherein the first wall, the second wall and the bulkhead define the combustion chamber.
