A casting mold for casting a piston for an internal combustion engine may include a mold body having a surface texture in a region corresponding to a subsequent internal surface of a piston skirt. The surface texture may be defined by a plurality of grooves. The plurality of grooves may have the following dimension: a depth of 0.2 mm<t<0.5 mm, a width of 0.02 mm<b<0.05 mm, and at least two groove walls which are inclined outwardly at 0°<α<10°.

1 . A casting mold for casting a piston for an internal combustion engine, comprising: a mold body having a surface texture in a region corresponding to a subsequent internal surface of a piston skirt, wherein the surface texture is defined by a plurality of grooves, and wherein the plurality of grooves have the following dimensions, a depth of 0.2 mm<t<0.5 mm, a width of 0.02 mm<b<0.05 mm, and at least two groove walls which are inclined outward at 0°<α<10°. 2 . The casting mold as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the plurality of grooves define a quadrilateral structure. 3 . The casting mold as claimed in claim 1 , wherein at least two grooves of the plurality of grooves have a distance of approximately 0.2 mm<a<2.0 mm between one another. 4 . The casting mold as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the plurality of grooves are formed via a laser. 5 . The casting mold as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a coating disposed on the surface texture. 6 . The casting mold as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the surface texture has a square waffle pattern. 7 . A piston cast in a casting mold comprising: a piston part having an internal surface, and a surface texture disposed on the internal surface defined by a plurality of grooves, wherein the plurality of grooves have the following dimensions, a depth of 0.2 mm<t<0.5 mm, a width of 0.02 mm<b<0.05 mm, and at least two groove walls which are inclined outward at 0°<α<10°. 8 . The piston as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the piston part is a cast piston skirt. 9 . The piston as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the plurality of grooves define a quadrilateral structure. 10 . The piston as claimed in claim 7 , wherein at least two grooves of the plurality of grooves have a distance of approximately 0.2 mm<a<2.0 mm between one another. 11 . The piston as claimed in claim 7 , further comprising a coating disposed on the surface texture. 12 . The piston as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the coating includes a release agent. 13 . The piston as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the surface texture has a square waffle pattern. 14 . The casting mold as claimed in claim 2 , wherein at least two grooves of the plurality of grooves have a distance of approximately 0.2 mm<a<2.0 mm between one another. 15 . The casting mold as claimed in claim 14 , wherein the surface texture has a square waffle pattern. 16 . The casting mold as claimed in claim 15 , further comprising a coating disposed on the surface texture. 17 . The casting mold as claimed in claim 16 , wherein the coating is a release agent. 18 . The casting mold as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the surface texture has a square waffle pattern. 19 . The casting mold as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the coating includes a release agent. 20 . A casting mold for casting a piston, comprising: a mold body having a surface texture in a region corresponding to an internal surface of a piston skirt; wherein the surface texture as a quadrilateral pattern and is defined by a plurality of grooves, and wherein the plurality of grooves have the following configuration: a depth of 0.2 mm<t<0.5 mm; a width of 0.02 mm<b<0.05 mm; and at least two groove walls inclined outwardly from one another at 0°<α<10°; and wherein at least two grooves of the plurality of grooves have a distance of approximately 0.2 mm<a<2.0 mm between one another.
